The APC senatortial candidate in Ogun West, Hon. Jimoh Olushola Ojugbele OjuYayi has expressed his commitment to the continued transformation of the senatortial district when he finally took over from the current senator, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi come 2027.
While answering questions from newsmen on Tuesday the 2nd of June, 2026, Hon. Jimoh Olushola Ojugbele OjuYayi noted that the ongoing excellent legislative leadership of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi must continue as Ogun West cannot afford to derail from such a progressive pedestal.
According to him, Ogun West senatorial district under the leadership of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi has become a model not only in Ogun State but the nation at large for his unprecedented massive empowerment schemes, quality representation on the floor of the senate, giving Nigeria a well structured, detailed and fiscally prudent national budget at the committee level as the appropriation chairman and many more.
Hon. Jimoh Olushola Ojugbele OjuYayi used the occasion of his encounter with the newsmen to express his confidence in effectively taking over from Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi as a three term House of Representatives member with vast experience in legislative duties and quality representation.
He therefore urged the people of Ogun West senatorial district to rally support for APC across board in preparation for the coming general elections while expressing confidence in the capacity and commitment of the party to continue on it path of progressive ideology.
