TOPIC: *WHAT CAN MAKE A MAN TO BE A SUCCESS TO SELF AND TO OTHERS [Part III]*
TEXT: Psalms 24:3-5.
*MEMORY VERSE:*This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success [Joshua 1:8]*MESSAGE:*As I conclude on this very topic today, I want to say this, it is God's desire for us all to be successful. Among others, Genesis 1:28 is one of several scriptures to prove that. In Joshua 1:8 our today's memory verse, God hinted Joshua on the bedrock of how to prosper and have good success. But fulfilment of this goes in pari pasu with conditions to be fulfilled on our own part. For God to baptize anyone with this grace for success, that fellow must have had acceptance to God's presence. When the question was asked on who can be accepted to God's throne, the answer was given in the fourth verse- Psalms 24. Let's dissect the answer again in New Living version of the Bible. It says, "Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies." The first two conditions were outlined in this topic part one. Now, as interpreted by this version, other conditions are as follow: [i] Abstinence from idolatry. King James version says, who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity. Lifting up, or too much of attachment of ones soul [mind] on material or ephemeral things, or on a person, or persons above God is purely idolatry. Whatever takes, or whatever you allow to occupy where God should occupy in your life is your idol. Some persons idolize football, footballers or other sports and the sportsmen/women: some, television programs, music or the musicians and e.t.c. They pay attention to these more than anything that has to do with God or with His Church. Do you remember the rush, addictions, devotion of people to the just concluded popular program called 'Big Brother Naija?' Many things were immoral about that show. And many Christian families, God believing homes, parents, even some pastors were guilty of this. As I am talking on this now, I don't know how you feel on my stand on it, but what I know is that, either we like it or not, what is immoral is immoral. And my stand is from the angle of God's standard [2nd Timothy 2:18-26]. God doesn't and can never be involved or support immoral programs or anything of that nature. Outside God, everything a man has, or runs after in life is vanity. As Colossians 3:2 admonishes us, beloved, from now onward, set your mind on heaven and on things in heaven. [ii] Another condition is, living a truthful and honest life. It continues, "who doesn't sworn deceitfully." Some people's are professional in lying, in deception. In conclusion, if you want to be granted access to God's presence, you must fulfil these conditions listed in this Psalms 24- Purity of heart, cleanliness of hands, lifting up ones soul to God alone, and not swearing deceitfuly. As you obey these conditions, you are on your way to prosperity. Shalom!

1. Thank You Lord Jesus for this bitter but healthy truth.
2. Oh God, I repent of anyway I have idolized anything outside You.
3. Oh God, forgive me of lies and deceptive life.

TOPIC: *DIVINE SECRETS TO PROSPERITY*
Text: Hebrew 1:8; Psalm 106:3
*MEMORY VERSE*Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people (Prov.14:34)
*MESSAGE:*The world of God in Psalm 35:27 says God has passionate pleasure in the prosperity of His people. Prosperity is good. It's one of the greatest desires of all men. Even the mad persons on the streets like it. They like acquiring properties. Haven't you seen them going around gathering any rubbish they see on their ways to themselves. To them, the mad folks, they believe they are acquiring properties. Prosperity simply means, the state of being successful and having a lot of money and properties. Sometimes ago on this devotional, I released a topic titiled 'You Can Prosper While Living Righteous.' I was moved to speak against some persons wrong notion that, if one is righteous, faithful, truthful he or she cannot prosper like others who play pranks and cut corners in the society. From the word of God, the best secret to easily slip into everlasting and peaceful prosperity is padded in walking with God, and in meeting up with Biblical instructions or standard for mankind.
Heb.1:9, one of our today text says, loving righteousness gives the righteous upper hands above others. Disappointingly, we have even heard some Christian said, as long as you don't steal in the office or in business, you cannot be more than an average persons in financial prosperity. That's lie anyway. See God's stance on prosperity to His children in these scriptures: Zech.1:17, "..Thus saith the Lord of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad;" My cities in this scripture means, God's temple. Hope you know whoever is a true Christian is a temple of God. And God's mind for them is to spread and establish abroad through divine orchestrated prosperity. Psalm 35:27 says, whoever is on the side of righteous cause of God shall have reasons to shout for joy; shall be glad continually. The last part of this Psalms also revealed to us that God has pleasure in the prosperity of His people. But, this prosperity can only come if that Christian who desires prosperity is among God's people that stand on the Lord's side of: [i]. Righteousness. Proverb 14:34a says, "Righteousness exalteth a nation." Again, according to Job 36:11, other secrets to prosperity of a Christian are: [ii]. Obedience to God, to His servants and to His word (2nd Chr.20:20)
[iii]. And rendering service to Him (Deut.10:12; 13:14; 15:5). Do you want to prosper as a Christian without doing what the corrupt world does? Just adictedly adopt and practice these above stated secrets. Then you are on your way to thriving in kingdom wealth. Lastly, remember, the 'b' part of our memory scripture says, "but sin is a reproach to any people." If you don't want reproach in any form, stay off all sins completely.
*PRAYERS:*
1. Thank God for abundant prosperity in Christ.
2. Lord, deliver me from negative mindset.
3. Father, give me the kind of prosperity that will shame the world.
4. Lord, help me to keep on obeying kingdom principles.

TOPIC: *BELONG WHEN ALL IS WELL THAN WHEN IT MIGHT NOT BE WELL*
TEXT: Isaiah 55:1-3, 6-7
*MEMORY VERSE:*Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them [Ecclesiastes 12:1].
*MESSAGE:*An idiom says 'make hay while the sun shines.' Meaning, if you have an opportunity to do something, do it before the opportunity expires. Till date, each time I drive through Odili road at Trans Amadi in Portharcourt, Rivers state Nigeria, I still regret my action of unseriousness to own at least a plot of land there then, when I had the opportunities to do so. All I cared for then was jamboree from one club, one drinking joint to the other. Fornicating around like dogs. It's always too late to cry when the head is off. Like me, there are many persons that have lost such opportunity as that. They neglected the right decision, the right step to take at the right time to take them. But when the time of realization came, they began to cry, or be sick of the pain their negligence caused them. There is this guy, an automobile spraying painter I knew in a mechanic workshop at Ahoada Rivers state. I had persuaded him, and others have severally, for him to be going to Church and be closer to God, but he turned deaf ears. Few days ago, I saw him very sicky. He has reduced to nothing that one can easily count the skeletal bones of his body. While he was narrating his ordeal to me and his boss, he said regrettably "chaii!, if to say I don know God since, if to say I dey go church since, this kind attack for no happen to me." What a wrong time to realize! Really, as I saw him, God opened my spiritual eyes, and I saw death written all over him. While we stood there, another person came, and said "this man don gather his load to die o!" Today's topic scripture and its memory verse both advise whoever is not also close or nearer to God to seek Him; near Him, hear Him and attach to Him now before it's too late. The memory verse says, remember to listen to God and His instructions now in the days of your youth before the evil days come. 'In the days of your youth' means, when every thing about you; your health, your body, what you enjoy at the moment, and while this opportunities you have to change is still fresh and can be accepted. When all are still rosy. Because, their would be a time, a season of weakness, when what you have that you think is strong, healthy and enough today would require external strength/help to remain the way it is. Then, it's your previous waiting and steadfastness with God that would count or renew your strength [see Isaiah 40:31]. My beloved, are you healthy, wealthy or doing well today! Remember, no one knows what could happen in the next seconds. So, remember to connect to God, and carry Him along now in whatever you do. The best time to near Him, hear Him, to find Him is now when evil days hasn't come. Looking for Him, or going from one church, or from one man of God to the other might be a game of chance when evil day comes. My friendly, brotherly advise to you is this, belong to God, seek Him wholeheartedly now while you have the opportunity all around you!

1. Thank You Lord for this timely warning to me.
2. Oh God my Maker, I repent of the time I have spent without knowing You.

TOPIC: *WHAT CAN MAKE A MAN TO BE A SUCCESS TO SELF AND TO OTHERS [Part II]*
TEXT: Psalms 24:1-5
*MEMORY:*And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision [Daniel 8:16]
*MESSAGE:*Success is a good thing which everyone desires in life. Though there are many avenues success can come through in life. But note, not all success that are really true success. According to Joshua 1:8, good success or good blessing only comes from the Almighty God. And verse five of today's scripture also consent to It that, access-grant to the throne of God is gratification into the vicinity of success. David, Knowing that being with God grants flow access to the palace of success; and been a man that knew the sweetness and comfort in success, asked God this question in order to know the qualifications to ascend high to divine height of success. He said, "Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?" [Psalms 24:3]. Immediately, the answer was listed as follows: [i] Having clean hands. Meaning, good reputation, stainless record in whatever a man does or lays his hands on. [ii] Having pure heart. Meaning, having a good heart. A heart that doesn't store, plan, support or perpetrate evil. A heart free of impurities. Let me say this, just answering the name or parading self around as a Christian without meeting up God's required standard for Christianity can never amount to anything good. Except living biblically recommended transformed life in the fear of God is in place. [2nd Timothy 2:19-22]. So, if you are a Christian, and wants to enjoy the divine plated milk and honey in Christianity, do the right thing expected of a true believer in Christ. This topic main scripture, which is also today's memory verse [Daniel 8:16] reveals that God related with Daniel at a place called Ulai. Meaning "pure waters place." If you aren't yet a believer in Christ Jesus, but want to join the wagon of God into haven of success, make the first move to connect to this pure and holy God through Jesus Christ. Thereafter, be a person of clean hands and of pure heart. By doing so, very soon, you also shall arrive into your destined Canaan land. Shalom!

TOPIC: WHAT CAN MAKE A MAN TO BE A SUCCESS TO SELF AND TO OTHERS [Part I]
TEXT: Daniel 8:1-16
*MEMORY VERSE:*And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none [Ezekiel 22:30].
*MESSAGE:*As voiced out by today's memory verse, God said He is in need of persons to use for His divine purposes, but found none. He found none doesn't mean there are no people available to pick. I bet you, all over the world, within the churches and outside, if the heart of many are searched, it will shock you that many folks, even the ones that fight and criticize churches, pastors aspire to be one of the popularly known [genuine] men of God in the society. They like to be used also. Really God would've loved to use them, but the hitch is that, there are impediments in their lives that disqualify them for God's use. And, the faithful and righteous God I know, can never compromise His stance to use unclean vessel just because He is in need of who to use. Unless there's a proactive positive change. What is that God stance for everything in life? Holiness is. Holiness, purity is His standard in every of His assignment/mission. And this His stance is uncompromising and unshakable. Our anchor scripture says, while Daniel was trouble to know what to do when he was in a confusing, complicating situation, God answered him at a place called Ulai. The name Ulai means "pure waters." And that's where God spoke to Daniel from. I want to say this, God can only speak through a person, a place that's pure. He can't speak or reach out through 'a dirty water'. I mean, God wouldn't conduct through a dirty place or person. And it's profitable to be used of God. Beloved, know this, if God found a person or place qualifies for His divine purpose, that fellow or location wouldn't only be a blessings to others, but would be stupendously blessed [check it out in Romans 8:28]. That is what 2nd Timothy 2: 21 mean by saying, "If a man therefore purge himself from these, He shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work." Prepare unto every good work means, all things, including personal endeavors, project would work for good. Why? Because God would deposit chips to be multi purposely useful in that [vessel of honour], useful fellow. Mainly because God found him/her worthy. A blessed man is a man that's useful to, for God in his acquired success. Among others I know, there's an uncle, an aunty and friends of mine I know that are successful and are still tirelessly useful for God. Some persons are successful, but not useful. Do you want to be usefully successful in life to yourself and to others? Then, enroll into the class of sanctified and useful ones. By God's grace, we shall continue from here tomorrow. Shalom!
*PRAYERS:*
1. Join us to thank God for the just concluded 6th anniversary of our ministries and my wife's birthday.
2. Talk to God say, O God my Creator, purify me and set me aside for Your use from today.

*SPIRITUAL MEAL FOR GROWTH*

TOPIC: *CHANGE WITHIN YOUR OWN SPACE OF THREE HOURS*
Text: Acts 5.1-10
*MEMORY VERSE:*Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord [Acts. 3:19].
*MESSAGE:*There is a song writer that says, "This world is not our own/home." We came here to stay somehow, and we must live here to stay somewhere someday. Exactly as no one ,no gynecologist, no doctor can get [EDD] child's delivery date and time accurately, so can no man know when he or she will answer call of death. Towards the end of last year, I scheduled to celebrate the beginning of new year [January 1st 2018] with my mother in law in Gbarantoru, Bayelsa state. Nigeria. But plan to be in my hometown Ijebu Jesa in Osun state to partake in our family usual celebration of then oldest mother, wife- mummy Kayode Ojo's birthday with her during Christmas periods. But surprisingly, these two mothers answered their calls of death within few weeks intervals at the end of that year [2017]. Either we like it or not, we all must answer same call one day. Our prayer is that, it should be at a good old age like theirs. But as we wait for that good old age, it will be of benefit for us to live a life that is meaningful and pleasing to God. Our mummy, Late Mrs Lydia Kayode Ojo passed on immediately after she shouted 'hallelujah' when she came out of days coma on a hospital bed. What a good way to depart, and a good song to answer death call with!! Undoubtedly, she departed to a refreshing and comfort place in the bosom of the Lord. Let me ask you, when your own call would come, how and where will it meet you? And where would you be called unto? Would it be a place and season of refreshing in comfort at the bosom of the Lord like Lazarus the beggar? Or into the place and season of regretting in discomfort as of the wicked unrepentant rich man in Luke 16th? The 7th verse of today's topic scripture says, there was a 'Space of Three Hours.' That was a time of grace for Sapphira to repent. But she didn't. Rather, she followed her husband's wrong pattern of life. Every sinner has what I tagged 'A Space Of Three Hours.' Time of grace to repent and be converted from wrong way of life to the way right way, way of God. Beloved, is your way wrong in one way or the other? Better do what our memory scripture prescribed. Don't wait at all. Since no man knows when his or 'space of three hours' would elapse. Repent and convert now. So that you also can have reason to shout hallelujah on your day of departure as mummy Kayode Ojo did. Don't think you still have more time, or opportunity to do that later! You might not live to see that time, that opportunity for repentance. Better do it now!!
*PRAYER:*
1. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your warning to me this morning.
2. Oh Lord, may I live an uncompromising holy life.

SPIRITUAL MEAL FOR GROWTH

Topic: *WHY YOU MUST PAY YOUR TITHE [Part III]*
Text: Malachi 3:8-12
*MEMORY VERSE:*And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law.. [Hebrews 7:5A].
*MESSAGE*The great man of God, my father in the Lord, Apostle Johnson Suleman said, knowledge makes a man to have an eldge above others. Having proper knowledge on tithing place a tither in a right place to receive benefits of tithing from God. We ended this topic yesterday on wrong notion and beliefs some persons have about how their tithe should be paid. I have discovered that many persons have being faithfully but wrongly obeying the commandments of tithing. Wrong because of the wrong teaching they have been imparted on about where and how their tithe should go and be paid. Hosea 4:6 says, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. The books of Numb.18 verse 24, 26, 28; Deut.12:11 and Deut. 26:12 are among several scriptures where God specifically stated out how He wants the command on tithing obeyed. To correct the wrong ways some of us pay tithe, let's take it up from the Old to the New Testament in other to understand what Deut.26:12 which the message of it has being misleading to some. The books of 2nd Chron. 31:12; Nehemiah 10:37-38 stated clearly that tithe should be given to Levites [the servants of God]. And Numb.13:5 frantically say, bringing tithe to them [the Levites] is a command. The book of Hebrews 7:5 and 9 [in New Testament] which is our memory scripture point out clearly that tithe should be given directly to the Levites. It says, the Levites are the ones God appointed into the office of 'Receiving and Distribution' of Tithe. Not you. It's purely the work of the Called ones into the priesthood or Leviticle office. Back to what Deut.26:12a says, it says, "When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes.." For scripture to be balanced, it must not be taking out of context. It says, when thou has made an end of tithing. Backed up with other quoted scriptures above, it means, when you have ended up in tithing to Levites, then, they, be the Appointed ones God placed in charge of His storehouse as Joseph was placed in charge of the storehouse in Egypt by Pharaoh, would thereafter do the onward distributions to orphans, widows, singers and others, as Joseph did from the Egypt supply storehouse. Please, study this topic and the given scriptures carefully for proper tithing from now on. Bless you!

1. Father Lord we thank You for Your instructions to us in the scripture.
2. From today, I repent of my wrong ways of tithing.

Topic: *WHY YOU MUST PAY YOUR TITHE [Part II]*
Text: Deut. 28:6-13.
*MEMORY VERSE:*Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse; [Malachi 3:10a].
*MESSAGE*In the beginning of part one of this topic, we started by letting us know that the Almighty God established bringing of all tithes into 'the storehouse' as a command not as a plead. Hear the memory verse again, "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house...". I think it's expedient we throw more light on a part of the above statement. From the way it sounds, you could see that the Almighty God authoritatively commands all our tithes to be brought. Not a part or some of it. And He didn't say 'pay' all tithes. He said 'bring all tithes'. So, our tithes are to be brought to God's storehouse. We are not to hold on to it. Not to sit and determine over it ourselves on how and what to do with it. It was mentioned in this topic part one that, the storehouse is synonymous to 'e-wallet'. If you are computer literate, you will agree with me that pin codes or passwords are required to open e-wallets. So it is concerning saving into, and collecting from tithe 'G-wallet'. And God is the Custodian of this tithe wallet key. If you do the submission He will do the supplies of your needs and suppressions of devourers [the enemies and all attacks] for you. And according to God's word, no tithe payer should help God to do the sharing of the paid tithe. In Numb.18:24 and 26 God commanded all tithes to be brought and be given to Levites- His true servants. Levites [God's servants] are the keepers of God's storehouse [the Church]. Deut. 12:11 particularly states clearly that tithe should completely be submitted to where the name of God dwells. Meaning, true gathering place where His people called upon His name, where His people [Christian], the called by His name go to call, worship and place request through His name- the name of Jesus. Emphatically, His dwelling place- the Church is where tithes are commanded to be brought into. And according to Numb.18:24, 26, and 28, God ordained priests, pastors which Bible tagged Levites are the tithes Collectors. While they are to in return in fulfilment of divine designation on tithe distributions spread it out as stated in Deut. 26:12. God revealed to me that it's actually the misinterpretation of this Deut. 26:12 that has being confusing many. It's the wrong indoctrination and teaching on it that makes many ignorantly feel they have every right to distribute their own tithe to strangers, orphans and the widows as lined up in the verse. Absolutely and biblically No! By God's grace we shall pick up from this unscriptural and erroneous belief tomorrow for a clearer understanding. Bless you!
*PRAYER:*
1. Thank You Holy Ghost for this teachings on tithe to correct my wrong way of tithing.
2. Merciful Father, heal me of any form of wound me and my family or my finances have sustained because of unfaithfulness in submitting my tithe.
