1️⃣The Ogige Market Amalgamated Traders Association in Nsukka has expressed happiness over the donation of fire service van and rescue Hilux by the Enugu state government to the market. The chairperson of the association Dr.Mrs. Ngozi Ozioko appreciated the Enugu state governor His Excellency, Dr.Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for reaching out to the traders . The event was witnessed by the spiritual director Okunerere ,Rev fr. Obayi who prayed and blessed the donated items.

2️⃣ The people of Breme community in Eha ndi Agu has raised alarm over the poor condition of the community. The people of the community frowned at the level of marginalization in the area. They plead with the Enugu state governor to come to the rescue of the people.

3️⃣ The Opi Amalgamated Traders Association( OMATA) has been invited for a visit by the Enugu state governor, His excellency Ifeanyi Uguwanyi to the government house today 4th August, 2022. This was disclosed to Nsukka News by one of the executives who pleaded anonymity that the aim for the invitation has not been disclosed but will not be far from his preparation ahead of 2023 general election. He explained that the association has been making efforts in mobilizing more people for the visit.

4️⃣Nsukka local government has been advised to step up button for environmental cleanliness in the area. Nsukka News observed that there is no special arrangement by the local government which makes the people to dump refuse along Ogige market road. Nsukka news while walking round the metropolis discovered that the people dump refuses along the road which is not healthy to the people as a result of no alternative provision by the government on where the refuses can be dumped.

Another Nigeria actor rejects Offer from APC

One of the Nigerian Veteran actors Mr. Nkem Owoh popularly known as Osuofia has reportedly rejected 10million naira offer from APC in order to endorse the presidential candidate of the party Ahmed Tinubu.
This report came after some delegates visited the actor.
You can recall that some actors have recently on social media endorsed the APC presidential candidate. Some people argue that many of them were bought over to support the candidate.
Some actors like Zack orji, Gentle Jack have reportedly endorsed Tinubu.
However, the vice presidential candidate of Labour party Dati Ahmed Yusuf has shared on his page to express surprise that Osuofia could have such integrity.
This act from Osuofia has raised reactions from people.

1️⃣ The candidate for house of representatives Nsukka/Igbo eze south federal constituency under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC),Cmr. Kingsley Asogwa has appealed to the youths of the constituency to look out for credible candidates irrespective of the political party during 2023 general election.

2️⃣Opi Agu Development Initiative warms up to continue the construction of Opi Agu community road immediately after the rainy season. Recall that Opi Agu community embarked on construction of their road as government has refused to pay attention to the development of the community. The community however appeals to the general public and well meaning Nsukka People to assist them financially as they start another phase of the project.

3️⃣ Youths in Agboalor Uno youth has successfully carried out their inauguration. HRH Igwe Sunday Ezugwu while addressing the youths during the inauguration ceremony applauded the youths on the peaceful manner in which they conducted themselves and pledged to always give them any necessary support within his reach. He further gave the youths some financial empowerments to some youths in support of their businesses. He encouraged them also to abstain from any social vices that could cause harm to the society.
4️⃣Ibeku ward labour party has announced 21st of August as the official day to unveiling of the party's house in the ward. The chairman of the party at Ibeku Ward Hon. Chinwe Pedro expressed readiness of the party at the ward in organizing the event.

5️⃣Primary school teachers in Enugu state continue their indefinite strike as Enugu state government is yet to meet their demand of implementing the federal government approved minimum wage. A teacher who pleaded anonymity explained that the teachers in the state have endured enough since the approval of the minimum wage as the state government has bent on giving excuses of no money.
