DURING MENSTRUATIONS

If a woman is seeing her menstrual period, please do not do these 5 things; I mean:
1. Do not drink cold water or eat coconut during menstruation. To prevent blood clotting or blood disappearance.
2. Do not have s*x during your menstruations. The va**na is very soft during menstruation, bacteria, fungi, viruses can easily find their way into the Viva, uteruses causing serious infestations for both you and your man.
3. Do not apply shampoo on the head because the pores of the head are open during menstruation and can cause a headache and pores damage.
4. Do not eat cucumber during menstruation because sap in the cucumber may block the menstruation flowmatics (blood loss) in the uterine wall and may cause sterility. .
5. Also during menstruation, Your body (any part of the body) should not be hit or hit by hard objects, especially the abdomen, as it can cause excessive bleeding, vomiting, Fallopian tubes blockage and the uterus can be injured. And these are the . "ORIGINS OF UTERINE CANCER, ABNORMALITIES AND STERILITY" .

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Sunday, declared Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) winner of the Saturday 16th August, 2025 bye-election conducted in Anambra South.

Nwachukwu pooled 90,408 votes to defeat Chief Azuka Okwuosa of All Progressive Congress (APC) who scored 19,812 votes and Donald Amamgbo of African Democratic Congress (ADC) that got 2,889 votes.

The election was keenly contested by about 16 political parties in order to replace the late occupant of the seat, late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who had won reelection in 2023 under the platform of Young Progressive Party (YPP) but later joined APC before death in 2024.

Nwachukwu is the first APGA member to win a Senatorial poll in the zone as well as second member of the party to win a Senatorial post in Anambra State. The former President General of Ukpor will also become the first person from Nnewi South to occupy the position upon inauguration.

The first person to win a Senatorial position under the APGA platform in Anambra State was Senator Victor Umeh of the Anambra Central. Umeh won a Senatorial rerun conducted on January 13, 2018, replacing Senator Uche Ekwunife of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) whose party was barred from participating by the Court that annuled her victory at 2015 general election. Before then, elections in the three Senatorial districts in Anambra State were usually won by the PDP members except in 2011 when the former State governor, Chris Nwabueze Ngige of the Anambra Central broke the record with Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

1. She has not done BBL nor enlargement of any part of her body...she is proud of how God created her
2. She doesn't do clout chasing on social media
3. She doesn't share her private and marital life on social media
4. She is very principled and very humble
5. She maintains her continuity when on set ,most others will need the script supervisor to hold script while taking their lines and if the script supervisor skipped his eyes off small,they will rant on the guy as if they didn't send script to him or her too

I’m Sam Dede, proudly from Rivers State, and I’m an Ijaw man by tribe.

I studied Theatre Arts at the University of Benin, and later became a lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt. But long before that, acting had already chosen me. I didn’t just wake up and enter Nollywood, I trained for it.

My big break came with the movie "Ijele", but it was "Isakaba" that made me a household name. That film changed everything. I played Ebube, the féarless leader of the Isakaba boys — and in those days, Nollywood movies were real. No green screen, no fancy effects. We acted with our chest!

We told stories that reflected the society. We fought evîl, injûstice, and córruption — and the people felt it.”

Falling in love with Maurice Sam was something I never planned for. It really just happened. He was always around, so charming, and we connected fast. The way he looked at me, the things he said — it all felt real. I believed him. I believed in us. But what I didn’t know was that he was still acting, even off set. And the worst part is, I was the only one who wasn’t pretending.

That experience changed me. It hurt, deeply. Since then, I promised myself — no more actors. I want someone real. Someone who knows the difference between movie love and real love. I’ve had enough of scripts. Now, I just want something honest.

Did you know that what we have today as Beauty pageantry was borrowed from an Igbo Cultural practice known in most Igbo communities as “Iru Mgbede” or “Iso Ebe”.

The Iru Mgbede practice is strictly a right of passage for young girls that have attained marriageable age. Just like men have “Ima/Iba Mmonwu”.

In this practice which is usually done between Onwa Agwu-Onwa Ifejioku (late June-early August), young girls that have undergone their first period cycle in a particular clan or community are camped and secluded for months. In the camp, theyre well fed, taken care of and lectured on womanhood, adulthood, marital life, women’s roles in traditional practices and childbearing. They aren’t allowed to do strenuous activities and work.

On the grand finale, they put on their best outfit & makeover. With their nourished glittering skins, they make grand appearance at the village square and dance to the admiration of eligible bachelors and Elders who are looking forward to selecting partners for themselves and their sons respectively.

When the earlier c0l0nialists arrived Igbo land, they borrowed a leaf and turned it into a business venture, packaged it and shot it out as tourism and business venture. However, they projected the standard of beauty as being tall, slim and fair, just exactly according to the physical characteristics of their women.

Today our women are starving themselves to fit in forgetting that our standard differs. African women are naturally curvy/thick with slender and soft body.
