Controversial Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has reacted angrily after being charged ₦203,500 for airport parking for 4 days, describing the experience as shocking and frustrating.
He said he expected to pay about ₦40,000–₦50,000, but was stunned by the final bill.
It pained me die… I thought I would just pay 40–50k for parking space, but they collected ₦203,500 for 4 days,” he said.
He added that the situation left him stranded and confused, saying it affected his food money and travel plans.
They just took my food money… I stood there and I didn’t know what to do. This is a serious blow to me,” he said.
In his frustration over the high cost of living in Nigeria, he made strong remarks about President Bola Tinubu, saying: “E no go better for Tinubu.
He also added: “Tinubu will be forgotten before he even enters ground,” as he continued to criticize how expensive life has become in the country.
