"The Follow Better Organisation has endorsed President Tinubu for a second term, citing his transformative leadership.

Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, commended President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Abia State Governor Alex Otti for their outstanding approach to infrastructure development. At the 2026 annual conference, Ohuabunwa urged Governor Otti to maintain focus on development despite opposition criticism. He emphasized that continuity and discipline in governance are crucial for sustaining growth and public trust. The senator attributed the large turnout to grassroots support for the development efforts and expressed gratitude to members for their backing. On national politics, he stressed the importance of regional balance in leadership, suggesting the southern part of the country should complete its eight-year presidential tenure. Speakers welcomed Senator Ohuabunwa's leadership and pledged support for President Tinubu and Governor Otti. The director-general stated the conference aimed to reaffirm loyalty to Senator Ohuabunwa and strengthen the group's structure. Participants expressed confidence in the current federal administration following a unanimously adopted motion.

"New Year Message by Senator Mao Ohuabunwa-PhD_Pro_Chancelor Uniport

As we step into a new year, I extend my heartfelt greetings to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora. The dawn of a new year offers us another opportunity to reflect, renew our hope, and realign our lives with the values that truly matter.
In the midst of the challenges our nation and the global community continue to face, I urge Nigerians to remain steadfast in their faith in God. It is this faith that gives us strength in times of uncertainty, courage in moments of adversity, and wisdom in our daily decisions.
Our belief in God should not be confined to places of worship alone; it must reflect in both our personal and professional lives. Let our faith guide our conduct, shape our integrity, and inspire excellence in our workplaces, businesses, public service, and interactions with one another. A nation built on godly valuesโ€”truth, diligence, compassion, and justiceโ€”will surely thrive.
As individuals, let us strive to live lives of purpose, honesty, and service. As professionals and leaders, let us uphold accountability and commitment, knowing that every action contributes to the collective progress of our nation.
I remain optimistic that with unwavering faith, unity of purpose, and hard work, Nigeria will move steadily toward peace, prosperity, and sustainable development in the coming year.
May this New Year bring renewed strength, divine guidance, and abundant blessings to you and your families.
Happy New Year, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Senator Mao Ohuabunwa-PhD

""For too long, we allowed a crop of sycophants around OUK to push the narrative of his supposed invincibility largely to safeguard their next meal, since OUK is a master at dishing out crumbs to praise singers. But the time has come to checkmate this charade.

They continue to tout him as an achiever, yet such a view is not only misleading but downright insulting, especially to the people of Ohafia. Even if, without conceding, we were to acknowledge that he achieved something for Abia North as Senator, that does not mean the Senate seat must be ceded to him in perpetuity. We thank him for his past services, but it's time to move forward.

At the tribunal, OUK cast Ohafia in a shameful light by falsely asserting that elections couldnโ€™t hold in Ohafia because it is an IPOB enclave. Those applauding him clearly fail to grasp the gravity of that statement and its damaging implications. Do they understand the negative global perception such a blanket label places on the entire Ohafia community?

While Ohafia continues to suffer from severe erosion and lack of power supply, those who dance and sing for him lack the courage to confront these critical issues. They are only there for their stomachs. How can anyone sincerely praise OUK when, as a Senator, he has never raised the issue of erosion devastating Ohafia? He left that burden to House of Assembly members, fully aware that they lack the capacity to attract federal intervention through the ecological fund.

OUK has also never mentioned the electricity crisis in Ohafia on the floor of the Senate. He simply doesnโ€™t care. And those singing his praises are too blind or compromised to read the mood of the local government. If OUKโ€™s machinery hadnโ€™t disenfranchised Ohafia, we were more than ready to show him the exit door. But since he has shown us his playbook, we are waiting. The sycophants we temporarily loaned to him are political paperweights in Ohafia. When the time comes, we will speak with our votes. We are prepared for all his antics.

Electricity remained on the Exclusive List until recently, yet OUK never considered it a priority. Instead, he allegedly funneled contracts to cronies who built substandard roads, enriching themselves while neglecting core issues.
Meanwhile, adult men with the minds of children continue to dance for him, hoping for a meal or a chance to resurrect their dead political careers.

This time, we are ready. And we will resist everything that bears even the slightest resemblance to him.

"BREAKING!!! Biafra : Court Rejects All DSS Video Evidence Against Nnamdi Kanu, Declares It Inadmissible

โ–ซ๏ธIn a major ruling during the trial-within-trial, the court has dismissed all video and written statements presented by the DSS as evidence against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

โ–ซ๏ธThe judge declared the footage of Kanu's alleged statements null and void, rendering it irrelevant to the case.

This decision deals a significant blow to the prosecution's case.

"Mazi Nnamdi Kanuโ€™s Trial: DSS Witness Admits No Weapon Found, Judge Sets May 8 Deadline for Verdict

By Igbo History

In a heated cross-examination during the ongoing trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, defense counsel Agabi pressed a Department of State Services (DSS) witness on the validity of claims against the IPOB leader. The session, held at the Federal High Court, revealed contradictions and raised questions about the strength of the prosecutionโ€™s case.

The DSS witness admitted that no weapons or instruments of violence were found on Kanu at the time of his 2015 arrest in Lagos. Furthermore, he acknowledged that Kanuโ€™s interrogation was conducted without a lawyer present and that he could not personally confirm if any IPOB member had ever been prosecuted.

Agabi, during his cross-examination, highlighted the widespread insecurity in other parts of the country such as Zamfara, Benue, Kaduna, and Plateau, asking if these were linked to separatist agitations. The witness confirmed they were not.

The court also heard that IPOBโ€™s message was largely directed at the South-East and South-South regionsโ€”areas that are constitutionally governed, receive federal allocations, and have security institutions in place. When asked if people from these regions blindly follow Kanuโ€™s directives, the witness admitted, โ€œSome do,โ€ but conceded he had no evidence to support the claim.

Agabi reminded the court that South-Easterners serve in the military, DSS, police, and have held top positions such as the Inspector General of Police, and none have been convicted of terrorism or separatism.

When asked if the DSS had proof that Kanu directly ordered any criminal activity, the witness stated, โ€œPersonally, no, but the service has such videos.โ€

The presiding judge expressed dissatisfaction with the prolonged nature of the case.
โ€œThis matter has dragged for 10 years. I want it concluded by May 8, 2025. We will give account for our actions in this world, and I want to give a good one,โ€ he said.

The case has been adjourned to May 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2025.
