On Sunday, August 10th, 2025, an altercation occurred on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos, where a female passenger allegedly physically assaulted a flight attendant. In response, the airline staff subjected her to rough handling, resulting in her blouse being torn and exposing her breast.

To shed light on this matter, it is important for Ibom Air to release the footage of the incident that led up to this embarrassing situation plus passengers on this flight to come forward and give their statements or turn in their recordings to officials.

Regardless of the alleged alteraction, it's crucial to acknowledge that airline staff have no authority to strip a passenger naked or publicly humiliate them. Such actions would constitute a gross breach of professionalism and demonstrate lawlessness and gross incompetence. The alleged actions would also amount to a violation of the passenger's rights and dignity.

On Sunday, August 10th, 2025 an altercation occurred on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos, where a female passenger allegedly physically assaulted a flight attendant. In response, the airline staff subjected her to rough handling, resulting in her blouse being torn and exposing her breast.

Izu Aro is a spiritual and highly sanctified event in
Arochukwu Kingdom. During Izu Aro, Eze Aro and all the Aro Villages or communities return to their "Iyamavia", (The Aro prayer temple or sacred spiritual center) and make sacrifice and offer prayers of thanksgiving to God for blessing the year so far and then ask God to bless the harvest ahead and grant a prosperous end of the year to all Umu Aro that has been good plus a prayer for Aro new yam festival known as "Ikeji", according to "igu mgbe" in Aro dialect or Aro Calendar.
Eze Aro will offer a ram known as" Ebule" or goat "Ewu "or Hen based on his capacity or his heart of gratitude to God as a sacrifice for thanksgiving and present a prayer request on behalf of his kingdom, his family and a peaceful end of the year program. According to Aro calendar or " Igu Mgbe".
As Eze Aro is performing his Izu, all the kindreds that make up Arochukwu kingdom also observe their Izu.
These kindreds are Ezeagwu, Okennachi, and Ibom Isii. They break down Izu activities to their villages, down to their compounds, to their families or any Aro man who wishes to acknowledge "Obasi bi na elu" God for the success achieved in the past and ask God to also perfect the end of the year for him.

Isinkpu village is one of the communities in Arochukwu Kingdom. Izu Aro is all Aro traditional prayers in preparation for the end of the year activities known as Ikeji (new yam festival and end of the year celebration according to" igu mgbe" in Aro dialct or Aro calendar). The tradition demands that every village perform their izu at their" Iyamavia"after Eze Aro has performed His Izu that same day.
Iyamavia is the prayer temple or sacred center set aside by every community for prayers and spiritual cleansing or atonement and Ikeji traditional activities, etc.
If you watch attentively, you will see the items or the priest perform the sacrifice and offer prayers for the blessings of their community and their children both at home and in the diaspora. Meet Mazi Ogechukwu Patrick Egesi, the chief priest of Ugwu D**e in Asaga Village, Arochukwu. Mazi Ogechukwu performed Aro tradition and offered prayers to his ancestors for good harvest and progress of Umu Aro ahead of the New Yam Festival.
