THE ROLE OF THE PAST🤯🤯🤯
Happy Sunday!!
I was thinking through something yesterday.
See eehhhh, to be a "good" teacher, you have to really learn to be very patient with a lot of things. Emphasis on the "good", cox nobody likes to exercise patience in this country, even those that bear the name "PATIENCE".
I have this little girl in my class that each time she makes a mistake in any assignment, she would try so hard to erase it before submitting.
Sometimes, she uses white chalk to clean her mistake but it later re-appears. I will always caution her about it.
Then, she began to use saliva.....it worked, but only to leave holes on her books.
As a teacher, I always have that urge to beat her for being outrageously dirty. But I soon realized that all she's trying to do is to cover her errors.
One day, I decided to call her aside and I said to her, " Anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on. Trying to erase your mistakes would only damage your books."
Surprisingly, she responded that she doesn't want people to see her mistakes.
I laughed and said " Trying to hide your mistakes will only make more people know about them, and the stigma stays there for life".

This is equally applicable to all of us. We are always scared of people's opinions & reactions to our personal issues.
But, there's nothing wrong in failure. When you fail, simply learn from it and try again. It doesn't matter what people may think or say, mistakes are part of life's experiences.
Have you made some mistakes in the past months? It's not too late to start afresh.
Making mistakes isn't the problem, the problem is when you refuse to learn from your mistakes. That's the role your past mistakes have to play in your present life.🤷🤷
Wishing you'll growth in your different life endeavors.🤗🤗
Have a productive week ahead! 😊😊
