Gov Mbah Inaugurates 8-man Investigative Panel on IMT

Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah, has inaugurated an eight-man committee to look into the affairs of the state-owned polytechnic, Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu.

The probe panel named Committee of Inquiry into the Accounts, Management Practices and Staff Conduct, has Prof. Ed Nwobodo as the Chairman and Chinenye Angela as Secretary, while Osita Onuma, Dr Ada Nwonye, Barr. Lilian Ikwueze, Amb. Judy Nweke, Dr. Moses Otiji, and Vincent Onyeabor were named as members.

Inaugurating the Committee at Government House, Enugu, Monday, Governor Mbah said the Committee was constituted to ensure there is a level of credibility in the institution, expressing confidence in the capacity of the leadership and members of Committee to deliver on their mandate.

The Governor, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, reminded the Committee that the state was counting on their experience to do a credible job.

"The work you are going to do will set a new course for that institution and for the rest of the action the government will take in the Higher Education space in Enugu state", he stated.

He said the Committee's terms and reference were to evaluate the legal and policy framework underpinning the constitution of the Business Committee; and thoroughly analyse the various categories of fees charged to students, investigating the methods of payment, designated accounts for transactions, and the overall management of fee-related processes.

The Committee was also mandated to assess the degree of adherence to pertinent laws, regulations, and institutional policies in the selection and appointment of staff members, particularly those occupying key positions such as Heads of Department, Deputy Rector, among others;
identify and scrutinise all streams of revenue generation for the institution, delving into the mechanisms for revenue collection, proper accounting practices for remittances, and the overall management of these financial resources; investigate any instances of undue financial demands imposed on students either by lecturers or the administrative body, regardless of the pretext used; explore any other relevant areas that may emerge in the course of addressing the aforementioned issues: and to conduct a comprehensive examination leading to well-founded conclusions and recommendations concerning the matters outlined.

Responding on behalf of other members, Chairman of the Committee , Prof. Nwobodo, thanked Governor Mbah for the opportunity given to them to serve, and assured that the Committee would acquit itself creditably.

"I am confident that this Committee is going to do a thorough job, such that we should in the next years, look back and say that this was good.

"We are bound to do a good job and I am confident that the men and women you have selected, will do a good job", Prof. Nwobodo said.

The Committee has two weeks to submit it's reports.

Kudos To Southern Governors.

Solution to Nigerain problems will only surface when leaders jettison ethnic animosity embedded in suppression and intimidation of poor masses... My quest to understand the pyramid of troubles inherent in the country exposed me to scary but benefitting information about who dictates and controls Nigeria. Nevertheless, the recent determination to get it right by Southern Governors is a bold step at the right direction.

One of the resolutions at yesterday's 5/7/2021 meeting held in lagos was the need to have office of the president zoned to South... Even though, that North has dominated in the power sharing since independentnce till date, in an attempt to be fair to other tribes within the Northern region we must unequivocally state the fact as it is that Fulani has dominated in power sharing not the whole Northern extraction but the unwillingness of other tribes within the North to challenge for any meaningful position and their acceptability of being willing tools in the hands of Fulanis, made them culpable of the unbridled desire to subject other tribes within the Country to hardship, oppresion, annihilation and destruction of souls, pontentials, goals and properties...

It is of interest to note that in the gallery of those that had and still lead the country from Northern part are all fulanis in exception of one. One will not be out of equation to attribute the ruins, underdevelopment, illiteracy, and other social vices bedeviling Nigeria to Fulanis high handedness.

Why Sothern Governors are on the right track, it is worth to note that, every attempt will be put in place by the caliphate to terminate the progress and unity that are approximately existing in the south, using some useful Idiots to achieve their grand plan to remain at the helm of affairs... The none availability of Four South Eastern Governors in the concluded meeting is an act never in favor of the South by any chance... While Imo state's governor can be pardoned since he is a product of Fulani who can't go against his masters, that of Davi Umahi and Okezie Ikpeazu are nothing but protecting their selfish political interest against the masses come 2023. They romance and massage the ego of our oppressors in a bid to curly favor. Power is not given in any sane clime and what can guarantee that power is shifted to South is only through honesty, truthfulness, unity and fairness amongst southern leaders, which some governors of South East extraction have already shown to be lacking following their unavailability in a meeting of southern governors.

A burning question are; how will south be able to succeed on the quest to see that power is shifted downwards? How well are Sotherners placed in their respective political parties? Who are those to call the shot when the chips are down? What are the template of qualifying to contest for party tickets? Who and who have indicated interest so far behind the doors since it is early to some persons to declare interest? Until or else all the questions receive adequate answers and solutions South will not make head on with the resolution of the Governors.

What interest me is of the fact that who becomes president in 2023 is being discussed in the South as it is being done in the North for over a year now... South is sobering up to the glory of God but adequate measures are to be applied to avoid making the resolution a mere pronouncement of gathered friends in a discussion.

Get it right, is the slogan.

The Governor of Kaduna State, El-rufai code named Hell-rufai position on Bandits, Herdsmen and IPOB.

In his words IPOB is not the same with Boko Haram, Killer Herdsmen or Bandits.

Even though that such statement emanated from El-rufai, no individual can fault the fact or negate the stance of the Governor of Kaduna State on the basis that IPOB is different from other groups.

In attempt to discuss the statement of El-rufai we are meant to delve into operations and purposes of the aforementioned groups.

It is of foolhardy not to highlight reasons for the establishment of IPOB and the resolve of Buhari's led federal government to decimate the agitators of Biafran State.

IPOB was a peaceful organization not known to many persons until Buhari gave it popularity they required following his penchant for hate against any tribe away from his... IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu was strictly established for self determination devoid of nurset, riot and violence until the man in white caftan thought otherwise. Unarmed youths of IPOB were massacred, slaughtered and murdered in harsh and rough manner and their remains buried in shallow graves, leaving vultures to excavate, exhume and uncover to feast on them.

While IPOB was formed for actualization of Biafra, Boko Haram, Bandits and Killer Herdsmen were political armed groups of a caliphate to subjugate and enthrone supremacy over other tribes in the country.

If one must doubt my position on Boko Haram, Bandits and killer herdsmen, I plead that he or she does well to narrate the rational behind reckless statements of Miyetti Allah, the unholy romance of Bandits with Gumi, security officers and some political appointees as reported by Gumi himself.
It is on record that Miyetti Allah has not denied its involvement in pillage and destruction of properties, unwaton killings cm r**e meted on the people of different regions and tribes by Killer herdsmen, sponsored and promoted by political and ethnic bigwigs.

Some months ago, Nigerians were joyous about the death of Abubakar Shakur the leader of a warring faction of Boko Haram terrorist group by an opposing terrorist group of Boko Haram with no trace of his body... The real issue was that Abubakar Shakur was killed by Chadian military but following the conspiracy and shame that could follow the news, Nigerian Government hid until the demis Abubakar until Albarnawi's faction engaged the remenant of Shakur's group, in attempt to discredit the gallantry effort of Chad... Faruk Kperongi in one his posts narrated how government had hindered the termination of Abubakar Shakur's life prior to the eventual elimination of the Boko-Haram's leader by Chadian Army, gallantly led by their late head of state. Kperongi made a mistake to have accepted that Albarnawai's faction killed Shakur.

The recent capture cm incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu by Nigeria Government is another indicator of Nigerian Government involvement in the ever growing insecurity in the country... One is forced to ask why the same stick couldn't be deployed to tame Miyetti Allah or the bandits instead of amnesty and ransome to the groups respectively...

Is the acquittal granted to repented Boko Haram as they are called in the interest of Nigerians, their soldiers or for the interest of the oligarchies trying to lord and maintain supremacy over others using Boko Haram, Bandits and killer herdsmen as foot soldiers...

In a time when tensions are high and fear the companion of farmers, Nigerian President is more efficient in agitating and pushing for grazing routes against the popular demand of ranching. One is forced to ask what are the benefits of cattle routes in this modern time with the continual and endless killing of farmers in their numbers by the same herders Buhari Government is protecting...

We are governed by an ethnic jingoist, religious fanatic, a tribal warlord whose all efforts are to annihilate every dissenting voice against their grand plan to extinguish many tribes of Nigeria and allow them to institute a one religion against every other religions.

The Nigrian Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has faulted the southern governors' resolve to lead agitation for restructuring of the country. He believes the decision of the Southern Governors to lead the agitation is unacceptable...

In the spirit of Igwe bu ike, fear has engulfed the ever might North. Their believe in total dominance has exposed them to the unity of over marginalized South... The recent assemblage of Southern Governors is more formidable than any political movement in the country but the North was taken unawares. Many scathing words resonating from leaders in the North is an indication that United South would send these self-made masters pampered and nurtured by Britain to their caves.

The likes of Ahmad Lawan should do justice to intimate the Nigerian people the best to champion the course of restructuring, should it be that they want Senators and House of Representative members to lead the course of restructuring, when it is more glaring than crystal that they play game of numbers in the National Assembly and North having the greater numbers in the National Assembly stampedes every action geared towards balancing the lopsided advantages the North enjoys. Why won't Governors lead the restructuring when their security details can be stripped off at any moment, why won't the Governors ask for restructuring when their citizens are being killed while they wait for orders from Abuja, why will one be so scared of the Governors demanding for restructuring when they are ceremonial chief security in their respective states. I wonder how Ahmad should be so bold to dictate what and who should demand for restructuring if not the enormous powers they have enmeshed themselves with... The high-handedness of the present day government is an intrusive acts to the very existence of Nigeria.

Why Lawan rushed to dictate for Southern Governors the security apparatchiks of the Nigeria (North) was taking decision for issues bother on South East and South South with no one from the two zones visible or present in the matter involving them... The same Lawal that has not called the Buhari led federal government either by omission or commission to jettison his clannishness and religious fanaticism in his appointments was fast to call out the Southern Governors... When federal character was discarded, ethnicity enthroned, when grades and level of service were thrown out for religious purposes and merit arraigned, condemned and slaughtered on the alter of mediocre, Ahmad Lawal was dumb but received miraclous healing of speaking immediately the Governors resolved to play slaves no more.

In the other end, another son of North was condemning the banning of open grazing, educating the Governors of the south the need to have Fulani herdsmen in their midst before taking such drastic action... He conspicuously forgot that grazing is not restricted to cows only neither were the natives of south were consulted before setting in place that law... The Governors acted and are acting for the benefits of everyone residing in the South whether the animal rears or crop growers... Were Southerners consulted before the Northern States banned alcoholic consumptions which stripped many Southerners their means of livelihood?

The Southerners and their Governors coming together will end the marginalization and put the self-claimed born to rule to their place in Nigeria... Northern Governors' have the forum since time immemorial but the same North is afraid of Southern Governors' forum.

Why Uzo-Uwani is in comatose

In reference to "becareful to what you wish or bargain for"... Sometime in the month of February when tears became my companion and sleeplessness was my bosom I made a post concerning the mass destruction ongoing in Uzo-Uwani by the demons in the name of leaders. The alarming evil and a situation requiring a total abhorrent have been with Uzo-Uwani since inception but will I dwell in the recklessness of the leaders, will I travel on the pillage and steady stealing of her resources, will I echo the promotion of thievery and banditry by those who are suppose to protect the citizens, maybe I will talk about the war against some peaceful youth that seek for a better Uzo-Uwani... Many articles and opinions have flied across every nook and cranny of the local government but non seems to pay attention.

I will start this post by stating categorically that Uzo-Uwani youth live in abstraction, they are willing tools in the hands of political overlords, they mortgage their future on instant gratification, they are defenseless against their common enemies but attack their follow youth...

The attempted attack on the life of Gwiyi Solomon is so disdainful and a total failure of politics wether from within the local government or outside the local government... It is an action every sensible person should condemn and stand against...

Gwiyi Solomon a cat of more than hundred lives, is a jolly fellow who lives uprightly and promotes everyone accordingly... In truth, when the story became so audible I lived to imagine what a heartless and evil liking demon would embark on such ungodly act against a person who lives freely and embarces all without minding the level of the person he associates with...
I'm grateful to God for the foiled attack by the agents of darkness, men of underworld and Marauders on the life of Gwiyi.

It is such another day to give reverence to Almighty for he has never failed...

The story is not palatable, it is not of the interest of youth constituency, it is not of the behavior of Uzo-Uwani people... Thuggery and banditry are not in the behavior of Uzo-Uwani even though some miscreants and hoodlums are on rampage against the Local Government, uniting against our common enemy will push them to their caves...

It is time to rise and fight off the attempt to silence our people over what is theirs. Uzo-Uwani Rise and Stand tall.
