FEAR GRIPS RESIDENTS OF AGBALA, OWERRI NORTH OVER UNCHALLENGED FOUR HOURS OF ARMED ROBBERS' ATTACKS

There are indications that residents of Emeke Agbala in Owerri North Area of Imo State, now live in fear, following more than four hours of unchallenged armed robbery attacks in the area over the weekend.

DARLING FM gathered that the armed robbers were armed with guns, axes, iron bars and other dangerous weapons, just as they robbed victims of their valuables, including phones, sophisticated electronics, rappers and women jewelries.

According to the report, the scene of crime was less than 500 metres to the premises of the youth President, head of the vigilante team, community leaders and the traditional ruler of the area His Royal Highness Eze Malachi Onu.

The house to house armed robbery attacks which started about 1.00am lasted for four hours without any help from the community leaders, vigilante team, youth leadership and the Nigerian police, despite efforts by victims and other residents of the area who reached out to these community leaders, but regrettably non of them came to their rescue.

One of the victims, Mr Uzor forwarded worrisome photographs to DARLING FM on how the armed robbers accessed his house along Emeke Agbala old road.

He confirmed that the armed robbers stole phones, money and other valuables belonging to all members of his family and later proceeded to the house of one Chief Mrs Ann Amadi and dispossessed her of her jewelries and other valuables.

As much as parents play important role in identifying a gifted child(super intelligent child), I hope these parents are aware that there are characteristics / signs that you need to see in a child before pronouncing him gifted. some which may include:
Advanced Language Skills: gifted children tend to speak vocabulary that is more complex than those of their age and grade level

Rapid Learner and excellent memory: learn faster and have a quicker recall of information.
Advanced Problem-Solving Skills: have advanced ability to do logical thinking and early understanding of abstract topics

High Level of Concentration: Can focus on a task or problem for a longer period
Highly Creative: they have high interest in discovery, experimentation and investigation necessary for mastering object characteristics.

But then, every Nigerian child has these characteristics and more according to their parents.

I have stopped asking what a woman did when her man hits her. Like wanting to hear from the other side. Mbanu!

Some men are just women beaters(I personally call them women bouncers). They hit you for no reason. Such men hate the opposite gender. They only marry to maintain their social statues.

Unfortunately, some women end up with these women bouncers without noticing it while some saw the red flag but thought he would change and ignored it.

Let me bug you with this story my experience with a water tanker driver that supplies us water .

On that faithful day, Mr Jude(not real name) came to supply us water as usual. Normally, he runs his host from the back yard. But on that day, he chose front.

I went out through the back door. When he was done, I gather my buckets and basins to fetch the remaining water from the host🤫🤫🤫🤫(If you reside in Enugu, you will understand why we don't waste even a droplet of water).

So, I went to the front and filled my basins. Because carrying the buckets and basins of water from the front to back yard will be hard for me, I decided to open my main entrance door at the front.

On opening the door, my little toddler followed me immediately, slipped and hit his head on the tiles. Little did I know that there was a spot on his host that was licking and faced directly opposite my apartment. The whole passage became wet.

You needed to see how this man scolded me shouting that if he was my husband, he would have beaten me and dealt with me seriously for allowing that boy to fall. What!

I wanted to reply him but the wife material in me🤣🤣🤣🤣 asked me to keep quiet as such a man doesn't deserve my time.

Each time this man come to my yard to supply water, I will remember the incident. I keep asking myself, if actually this my was to be my husband, what exactly did I do wrong that would warrant beating and being dealt with?

I keep wondering what his wife will be going through leaving with such a man.
A man that is not even friendly with his fellow men.
My conclusion
Whenever I hear that a man hits his wife, I no go ask wetin the woman do. You have no right to hit her what so ever. Even if she made a mistake, remember you make mistakes too and no one hits you. Remember a time came when your parents felt you have overgrown being flogged for your mistakes.
