PRESS RELEASE

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following programmes of the Enugu State College of Education (Technical), Enugu for 2021/2022 academic session:
1. Pre-NCE: 1 year
2. NCE Regular: 3 years
3. NCE Part-time: 4 years
4. Degree UTME: 4 years.
5. Direct Entry Degree: 3 years
6. PDE Regular: 12 calendar Months.
7. PDE Part-Time: 2 years.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Pre- NCE: candidates with WAEC results or its equivalent and those with less than 4 credit or awaiting result. The programme will prepare the candidates for direct admission into the NCE programme after one year.

2. NCE Regular: candidates must have a minimum JAMB score of 100 and above in the 2021/2022 UTME and also possess a minimum of 4 credit in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

3. Part- Time NCE: candidates must possess at least WAEC certificate with a minimum of 4 credit in relevant subjects.

4. Degree UTME: candidates must have a minimum score of 160 and above in 2021/2022 UTME and also possess a minimum of 4 credit in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

5. Direct Entry Degree: candidates must possess a minimum of NCE, OND or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

6. PDE Regular/ Part-Time: candidates must possess a minimum of HND or Degree from a recognized institution.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Interested candidates should visit the College ICT Unit (inside the College Premises), Abakaliki Road, G.R.A, Enugu for further directive.

Please, candidates who did not choose ESCET as first choice or who did not choose ESCET at all, but are desirous of gaining admission into the NCE regular or Degree programme of the College will require to visit JAMB site and access change of institution into Enugu State College of Education (Technical), Abakaliki Road, Enugu.

Note that Enugu State College of Education ( Technical) is affiliated to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka for the award of Degree Programme.

PHOTO NEWS:
After the conclusion of the '21 SUG elections. The new the Student officers were on Tuesday inaugurated and has officially assumed office.

The event which took place at the Administrative Conference room was Graced by; the Dean Students' Affair, Dr Mrs Obiageli Otiji, HOD Students' affair, Mrs Ortuanya, members of the electoral Committee, ably represented by the forman Mr Bethrand Ekwe, past and present Officers of the Students' Government and others.

Highlight of the event was, Oath taking by the newly commissioned officers, farewell speech from the outgoing President, inaugural speech from the new president, address from the Dean and member of the electoral commission and lots more.

ESCET CAMPUS GIST!

The 2021 ESCET SUG Elections which was slated on the 18th of November began on the early hours of the midday. The electoral process was organised and conducted by the ESCET electoral committee and was done in a free, fair and credible manner beginning with voters' accreditation and immediate casting of votes. The Election also had some observers from NANS on board to witness the whole process.
Collation and counting of ballots came subsequently immediately after, and the results was publicly announced.
The elections at the legislative arm was held on the Friday 19th of November. The in-house election which was also conducted by the electoral committee, saw the 21 members from each Constituency elect into office the Speaker of the house, deputy speaker and other parliamentary officers.
The in-house election at the Judiciary arm comes up on the 21st of November.
