PDP NWC Confirms Governor Fubara As Leader Of PDP In Rivers State

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP has declared Governor Siminalayi Fubara as the undisputed leader of the party in Rivers State, following a critical consultative meeting in Port Harcourt.

The closed-door session at the Government House saw NWC members extolling Governor Fubara's leadership and lauding a recent court judgment nullifying the controversial PDP congresses in the state, which had led to the emergence of Hon. Chukwuemeka Aaron. Following the court ruling, Hon. Robinson Nname Ewor was appointed as the acting chairman of the party.

Speaking to reporters, PDP National Treasurer Ahmed Yayari Mohammed described the visit as part of efforts to realign the party and strategize for a comeback in 2027. He emphasized the party’s commitment to unity, stability, and repositioning under Governor Fubara's watch.

"We appreciate the Governor's doggedness in stabilizing the PDP in Rivers State. This is part of our broader strategy to ensure that the PDP is ready to take over governance, both at the federal and in more states, come May 2027," Mohammed said.

The NWC also used the opportunity to back Sir Ude Okoye, whose position as National Secretary was recently reinstated by the Court of Appeal. Mohammed reaffirmed that no legal hurdles exist to challenge Okoye's role, calling for continued support from governors and stakeholders.

To all Biafrans who are disgruntled over the misbehaviors of certain family members of the IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, my husband. I urge you all to exercise patience with us and let us work together and get our leader out of incarceration. I for one also have complaints and issues i ought to table to him. I had the opportunity to do so with my visits to him but I did not do so, because I am considering his dire health complications which is deteriorating gravely. He has heart related health complications and i would urge us all to have patience and shield our swords until he is out then we can iron out our differences with the hard heads who thinks our collective interest and sacrifices can be muzzled to suit their personal selfish needs and interests. I plead with you all.

People's Democratic Party's wave has taken over Igbo Eze South as the party kick start it's campaign activities.

The moral of the candidate of Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze have been high since campaign activities started as all the party stakeholders are standing strong behind him.

On 10th September, 2024 the party officially began it's after the Parish Priest of St. Mary's Catholic Church Ibagwa Aka showered blessings on the PDP candidate.

After the prayers, the party began visiting some wards which includes Itchi 1, Itchi 11, Unadu and Alor agu wards, where mammoth crowd trooped in to welcome the party and her candidate. Almost the entire community visited were in attendance as there is an overwhelming joy in the land became of the party candidate who is very much accepted by the masses.

On 12th of September, 2024 the campaign were directed toward Umuelo, Ihunaowere, Ezzi/Ngwu, and Ogbuagu/ejuona wards where Party were warmly welcomed by the community and religious leaders. The masses were seen singing and praising God for the gift of Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze.

Ven. Dr. Nnamdi Ijeudo, the priest in charge of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Ovoko praised and thanked God for giving Igbo Eze South a wonderful candidate who is focused, consistent, accountable, and transparent. He thanked Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for the choice of Ugo Ferdinand while speaking on behalf of the religious leaders.

In Ezzi/Ngwu ward, overwhelming joy deeply greeted the party as the Pdp EnuguState legal adviser Hon. Fide Odo declared that there is zero opposition in his ward as he has tirelessly worked in the interest of the party to deliver 100% votes to the party.
After his speech, the All Progressives Congress - APC chairmanship candidate came out publicly and officially declared that he is stepping down for the PDP's candidate as his supporters is cheering him. He also promised to work for electoral victory of PDP in the forthcoming chairmanship election

Man Set To Marry Three Women Same Day In Benue

A Nigerian identified as Tersugh Aondona is set to marry three women on the same day in Benue State.

According to the invite, the wedding will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, (today) at Lante Kukwagh Comprehensive Secondary School, Jato-Aka, Kwande Local Government Area of the state.

The invite also revealed the names of the wives to be Blessing, Nancy and Sulumshima.

The celebration is to start by 6pm till dawn.

One Harry Nyam, who first announced the wedding on Facebook, wrote, "31st January is finally here. All roads lead to Jato Aka today for our man, Tersugh Aondona AKA Aterry-baba.

"I just got in here and the town looks set to host the biggest weddings ever held in the state. Congrats to you and your wives bro. Very happy women. God when?🥺"

One James Atsa'am also wrote, "That's how things are. The three wives and their husband are doing what makes them happy. Carry on Orvesen Tersugh Aondona."

Another user, Waalawa Mbaikyor, wrote, "All roads leads to Turan-Jato-Aka tonight, the ancestral home of the Tiv nation as we all gather to celebrate our brother and his three tear leather wives.

"Of the three wives, one is Wan Utyomdu-Ihyarev, one is Wan Mbaterem Ukum and one is Wan Mbape Tor Ajio Ishangev-Ya.

"Our brother has captured the entire Tiv nation beginning from Kwande, MINDA And Sankera. We hope to celebrate the 4th and 5th Wives from Jemgbagh and Jechira.

"Congratulations to my brother, Or-U-Kuhwan Kasev Utar Yange Imom, High Chief Tersugh Aondona. I will be there tonight with the Jato-Aka people."
