Today, in the Catholic Church, we celebrated the Feast of All Souls a sacred day when we remember and pray for all those who have departed this world, that they may find peace and eternal rest in the loving arms of God.

What I learned from church today is that we are only pilgrims here on earth. This world is not our final home. It is a journey a preparation for our true home with the Father.

Our life on earth is a gift, a divine opportunity to reflect Christ, to love deeply, to live righteously, and to impact others positively. Because when a godly person departs, their memory becomes light that continues to shine people miss them not just because they’re gone, but because of how much of Christ they showed while they lived.

So, the message from church today is simple but powerful:
✨ Live with eternity in mind.
✨ Love freely and forgive quickly.
✨ Let your life be a mirror that reflects Jesus.

For one day, when our own journey ends, may it be said of us “She lived well, she loved well, and she reflected Christ.”

Thank You, Lord, for the perfect gift of year 27.
If I could describe my life in one verse, it would be this:
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1)

You have been my light through every shadow,
my courage in every trembling step.
Your hand has held me close,
Your grace has carried me far,
and Your love has pleased me beyond measure.

Here I stand grateful, humbled, and radiant in Your mercy.
Thank You, Lord, for 27 years of Your goodness…

✨There is a Time and a Season for Every Light to shine ✨️

I know I’ve talked about the movie Love In Every Word more than once, but honestly, it’s because this movie is full of lessons.

Today, as I watched some clips from People’s Review, another truth settled in my heart there is a time and a season for everything.

It could be my season today and my friend’s season tomorrow.
During Part One of the movie, it was Odogwu and Achalugo’s light shone so brightly that it seemed the other characters were invisible because it was their time.

But in Part Two, the story changed. Another light began to shine. Everyone has been talking about Ify who was played by the same friend who stood by Achalugo, fought her battles, and stayed loyal. This time, her own light rose, and the world could finally see her.

That’s the beauty of seasons. When it’s your time, you don’t need to force it. Your light will find its place and it will shine so brightly that nobody will be able to ignore it.

So if you’re in a space where it seems like others are shining brighter, please don’t lose faith. Don’t grow jealous or bitter. Celebrate them genuinely. Because when your time comes, God Himself will make sure your light shines effortlessly.

This movie reminded me once again that life is a journey of seasons, and no one’s time cancels another’s. Truly, Love In Every Word is not just a movie it’s a manual of life.

God will never fail you, what seems like a delay might be God preparing you for the blessings he has for you.

The Bible is full of examples of men and women who had God's promises of blessings but they went through the refining moments

Joseph saw that God would make him king among his brothers but he went through the pit to the prison then he became the prime minister.

Look at David a man called to be king of Israel but he had to fight Goliath, hide from master Saul to avoid getting killed, and still God made him. The king promised.

So I don't know what God has promised you that is taking longer than you expected and you are beginning to lose hope because it feels like God has forgotten his promises, GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN.

He will do what he said he would do. He said he will do it, Just trust him. The bible said in Numbers 23:19 that God is no mere human! He doesn't tell lies or change his mind. God always keeps his promises.

Even when the world turns away, He listens, He remembers, and He restores.
