Heavy or difficult.

It’s easy to feel like you have to have it all figured out, but there is so much power in simply knowing when to stop, rest, and trust. 🕊️

I’ve been learning that protecting my peace sometimes means being careful with who I open up to, and remembering that disappointment is often just a detour, not a dead end..

If you’re feeling heavy today, this is your sign to breathe. You’ve done your part; now trust the One who holds the rest. (Psalm 121:1)

My son asked me a question about God that honestly made me think deeply.

He said:
“If God is one, then why do we say God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit?”

Then the conversation moved from the Trinity to Jesus, obedience, heaven, hell, salvation, and the love of God.

Children ask some of the deepest questions about faith and sometimes their questions remind us to understand God beyond religion and truly know Him personally.

One thing I realized from this conversation is that children are listening carefully when we talk about God. They are thinking deeply even when we least expect it.

May God help us raise children who love Him, seek truth, ask questions, and grow in wisdom.

Christian parenting, teaching children about God, explaining the Trinity to kids, faith conversations with children, raising godly children, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, Bible conversations, Christian motherhood, parenting and faith.

Talk to God. Not only when everything is perfect, but in every moment.

When you are happy, talk to Him.
When you are confused, talk to Him.
When you are hurting, talk to Him.

The Bible says in Psalm 145:18, “The Lord is near to all who call on Him.”
So talk to God honestly and let His peace fill your heart.
