I feel short but not short.
Growing up, my sisters will call me "dwarf" every slight opportunity.
even in school they call me "odii" (means dwarf in igala).
From odi they started calling me smally.
i was not smally
i was never a dwarf
i was never odii
i was just in the midst of older people..
I started feeling short, even in the midst of dwarfs i am the tallest dwarf, folks started calling me auntie
people started arguing my age. i stopped telling people my age because they will call me lier.
people that didn't know my birthday will swear that i am older than my parents.
I feel short and still feel short.
i am never short, i am almost 5.2ft tall.
i deserve an apology from my family because they started it.
Being Short is not a disease but they made me feel less of myself.
I started being an adult from childhood because they think i am short.
