The Nigerian Senate has just passed a serious law. From now on, anyone who mekwe (has s£×ual contact with) a minor, that is, a child below 18 years will face life impr!s0nment. No excuse, no fine, no mercy.
It doesn’t matter if you didn’t know the person was underage. Even if she looks mature or behaves like an adult, the law will still see her as a child if her age is below 18.
That means before you ever think of doing anything with someone, ask for her age,ask even for her birth certificate if possible. Saying, “I thought she was 20” won’t save you.
This law is meant to protect children from w!cked people who try to take advantage of them. It’s a warning to everyone, control your njoku and respect boundaries.
So, lock your “njoku” (keep the rope in-between your leg in check) because one mistake can put you behind bars for life.
