7 signs someone genuinely loves you ❤️

Let’s be honest… sometimes we confuse attention with love.

Someone can text you every morning, buy you gifts, post you everywhere and still not genuinely care about you.

Real love is usually found in the little things.

1. They make an effort, even when it’s not convenient.
You don’t always have to beg for their time, attention or care. They genuinely want to show up for you.

2. They respect you.
Even when you disagree, they don’t insult you, embarrass you or deliberately hurt you just to win an argument.

3. They listen to you.
Not just waiting for their turn to talk. They actually remember the little things you tell them because what matters to you matters to them.

4. They want to see you grow.
They’re not secretly competing with you or trying to make you feel small. Your progress makes them happy.

5. They care about how their actions affect you.
Nobody is perfect. They will still make mistakes, but when they realize they’ve hurt you, they care enough to make things right.

6. You feel safe being yourself around them.
You don’t constantly feel like you have to perform, pretend or walk on eggshells just to keep them.

7. Their love is consistent.
Not only when they need something. Not only when they’re in a good mood. Their care doesn’t disappear every time things get difficult.

And honestly, this is one thing I’ve learned…

Love isn’t just about how someone makes you feel when everything is going well. Pay attention to how they treat you when things aren’t perfect.

Because sometimes, genuine love is not loud.

It’s simply someone consistently choosing to care. ❤️

Which one do you think people overlook the most?

How to Become Emotionally Strong as a Woman

Emotional strength doesn’t mean you stop crying, stop caring, or become cold.

It means you learn how to feel deeply without allowing your emotions to control every decision you make.

As a woman, you become emotionally stronger when you:

1. Stop chasing people who are unsure about you.
You don’t have to convince someone to choose you. Their uncertainty is information.

2. Learn to sit with uncomfortable feelings.
Loneliness, rejection, disappointment and heartbreak will hurt. Don’t immediately run back to the person who caused the pain just because you want relief.

3. Stop taking everything personally.
Someone’s inability to love you properly doesn’t automatically mean you’re difficult to love.

4. Set boundaries—and actually keep them.
A boundary isn’t “you better stop doing this.”
A boundary is knowing what you’ll do when someone repeatedly crosses a line.

5. Don’t make permanent decisions because of temporary emotions.
Give yourself time before sending that angry paragraph, ending something important, or begging someone to stay.

6. Learn to walk away without needing revenge.
Sometimes your biggest act of self-respect is leaving quietly and allowing people to live with the consequences of losing access to you.

7. Build a life outside relationships.
Have your own goals. Your own friends. Your own interests. Your own relationship with yourself and with God, if faith is important to you.

8. Stop confusing attention with love.
Someone texting you every night doesn’t automatically mean they value you. Watch consistency, character and actions.

9. Accept that not everyone will understand you.
You don’t need everyone to approve of your choices. Emotional maturity is being comfortable with being misunderstood sometimes.

And finally…

Learn to choose yourself without becoming selfish.

You can be soft and still have boundaries.
You can love someone and still leave.
You can forgive someone and still keep your distance.
You can miss someone and still know they’re not good for you.

That’s emotional strength. ❤️
