My dear igbo parents, why are you denying your children/child Asusu igbo, do you think been fluent in English will make your child so special? I have never met any Hausa parents or Yoruba parents denying their children their mother tongue, it's always the igbos yet they have been ruling us for decades, This holiday, I came across many kids who can't even express themselves in their own language (igbo).

You interact with your wife or husband with igbo but when it comes to the kids unu Asuwa Oyibo automatically, who did this to Us? English can be learnt anywhere, it's very simple to learn, igbo language should be your first priority for your kids cos that's their indigenous language, imagine your kids been fluent in English but when it comes to igbo , it becomes a problem, aren't you ashamed of that? Like how do you manage to sleep at night been that you and your wife are purely igbo but your children can't make a complete sentence in igbo language, what a shame, English won't make your child more intelligent than others, it won't make your child special, you are just suffering from inferiority..We are really in trouble..Sorry to us

A MUST WATCH FOR THE IGBOS

Recently we discovered that majority or most igbo parents found it shameful, local and unnecessary interacting with their kids in IGBO language, we have met some kids who can't comfortably make a complete sentence in igbo language. Kudos to our people in Abroad who are doing the opposite.. Surprisingly even some people residing in the village are beginning to emulate this act. For this reason, our crew took it to the streets of Enugwu to get people's opinion on this and the possible solution..

This Is very interesting to watch, and we hope that if you are a victim of this, this video should push you to begin to think again, Culture and languages are preserved by passing it to the next generation..
