MAINTAINING ENDURING RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR COVENANT KEEPING GOD.
Jere.32:39. And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them, and of their children after them.
40. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
41.Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
Comparing Scriptures that will help us:
Hebrews 8:6-13; Gen.17:7, 19; Isaiah.55:3. Ezekiel.37:25; Hebrews.13:5-6, 20-21; John.17:24; Jer.50:4-5.
God is interested in entering into an enduring, everlasting relationship with us.
As we come into covenant relationship with God we need to make it an enduring relationship.
To make our relationship with God as an enduring relationship we need to take the following steps:
(1) Entire consecration. We need to yield our all on the altar of the Lord without looking back. Rom.12:1-2.
(2) We need to be obedient to God in all things. Deut.10:1-2.
(3) We must be faithful to God at all times. 1Cor.4:2.
(4) We must be willing to live a life above sin and reproaches. 1Cor.15:33-34; 1John 3:8-10.
(5) We need to be prayerful and watchful. 1Peter 5:7-9; 1Thess.5:17-18.
(6) We need to keep on looking unto Jesus alone. Hebrews 12:2.
(7) We must live with the consciousness of the presence of God. Gen.17:1; 2Cor.7:1.
(8) We must love God with all our heart. Deut.30:6; Mt.22:39-40.
(9) Run away from worldliness and worldly ambitions. 1John.2:12-17; James.4:4.
(10) Avoid compromise and unfaithfulness. Hebrews.12:14-17; Daniel.1:8.
MY PRAYERS FOR YOU AND MYSELF IS THAT GOD WILL GIVE US THE GRACE TO MAINTAIN AN ENDURING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. LOUDEST AMEN AND WHOLEHEARTED AMEN.
