If you're going to Build your own house 🏠 some day ,or already building. Somethings to consider 👇
Before You Accuse An Innocent Witch Or Devil.
If you are referring to a construction engineer or a professional contractor as a thief just because you found someone else to do the job cheaper—but with low quality—I’m here to tell you that you’ve successfully wasted your money.
You have gladly wasted your resources. Eventually, you’ll come back to accept the truth you rejected, but with regret.
A soil depth of 150mm (6 inches) is not suitable for construction. We must dig deeper—at least 600mm (2 feet). The deeper the foundation, the more stable the soil. Even for a bungalow, the foundation must be deep enough to reach stable soil.
Looking at those attached picture, first two pictures , there’s no evidence of digging beyond 150mm or any serious casting work being done.
Many so-called "cheap" contractors use mortar (cement and sand) to lay blocks directly on bare ground. In contrast, a professional will excavate properly, use sand, granite, and cement for casting, and introduce columns even in a bungalow to provide a sense of structural stability.(Frame).
Can you truly compare the two approaches?
Let me outline some disadvantages of choosing low-quality work in your foundation :
1. Your building will experience settlement, leading to inevitable cracks because the foundation wasn’t laid on solid ground.
2. Proper foundation concrete casting is essential; it acts like rocks, providing the solid base your building needs.
3) Low foundation hight can result building dampness
Stop comparing the cost of low-quality jobs to that of professional work.
If your budget only allows for the foundation, focus on doing it properly and continue building later.
In all your construction efforts, prioritize getting the foundation right. Don’t compromise quality for cost—it will cost you more in the long run.
Until I come your way another time , ensure you build right!
