A TRIBUTE TO A CUSTODIAN OF FAITH AND CONSCIENCE IN NENWE || Nenwetv

Today we mourn the profound passing of our beloved Chief Priest of Ali Nenwe. Onye Ali was not just a man, he was a sacred vessel, a bridge between our world and the divine, the present and the past.

Through dedication to the religion of our fathers, Onye Ali affected the moral development and spiritual well-being of our community and left a legacy of dedication to truthfulness, uprightness, respectfulness, patriotism and dedication to community - concepts embedded in the ideals of "ikwuwa eka oto", "nso all" and "Umunna bu ike" which define the essence of the Ali deity. A cultural icon, Onye Ali was an emblem of our Cultural pride and self-confidence and identity and belonging, which builds resilience and provides stable base for our human and economic progress

We extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to his family, whom he loved dearly and pray that his gentle soul might find eternal peace in the realm of the ancestors as he continues to 'fight for us with ten thousand times ten thousand of them'
