THE LAST SEAT IN 3B

EPISODE 2: THE NAME NOBODY SPOKE

"It has started again."

The classroom fell silent as Tunde stared at the empty seat at the back.

Amaka grabbed his arm.

"What do you mean... again?"

Tunde swallowed hard.

"The student who sat there before... was Daniel Eze."

Gasps filled the room.

Daniel was one of the brightest students in the school.

Then one day, he disappeared.

The school claimed he transferred.

But nobody ever saw proof.

Slowly, Tunde reached into his bag and pulled out an old notebook.

It belonged to Daniel.

Hands shaking, he opened the final page.

A message was written in large letters:

"If anything happens to me, the truth is in the science laboratory."

The classroom froze.

Then Kola suddenly jumped to his feet.

"No!"

For the first time ever, he looked terrified.

Before anyone could ask why, the classroom door creaked open.

A stranger stepped inside.

And somehow...

he already knew all their names.

😳😳😳

TO BE CONTINUED...

Who is the mysterious man?
Why was Kola scared of the science laboratory?
And what really happened to Daniel Eze?

THE LAST SEAT IN 3B

EPISODE 1
“The Boy Who Wouldn’t Stand Up”

The first day of the new term at St. Gabriel’s College was always noisy, but this term felt different.

Students filled the corridors, shouting, laughing, dragging boxes, greeting friends they hadn’t seen for weeks.

But in Senior Secondary 2, Class B (3B), something unusual happened. There were 41 students on the register… but only 40 desks in the classroom.
And one seat, right at the back corner, was always empty.

No one sat there. Not because it was broken. But because of what happened last term.

“Don’t sit there,” whispered Tunde as a new student walked in.

“Why?” the boy asked, dropping his bag.

Tunde hesitated.

Before he could answer, the class prefect, Amaka, quickly interrupted.

“Just sit anywhere else. That seat is… reserved.”

“Reserved for who?” the new boy insisted.

Silence fell.

Even the class bully, Kola, avoided eye contact.

Then suddenly, the classroom door creaked open on its own, slowly.

Everyone turned.

But no one was there.

The new boy frowned. “Is the door broken?”

Amaka forced a smile. “Just wind.”

But Tunde’s hands were shaking under his desk.

Because last term… the boy who sat in that last seat, never finished the term.

And no one in 3B was willing to say what really happened.

Not even the teachers.

Just then, the chalkboard fell off the wall with a loud crash.

And written on the wall behind it were three words: "I NEVER LEFT.” The class erupted in panic.

But what shocked everyone most was Tunde’s reaction, He didn’t run.

He just whispered: “…it has started again.” ------

Who wrote the message?
What really happened to the missing student?
And why is Tunde acting like he already knows?

Stay tuned🤔

Class room Hack for 21st Century Teachers👌🏽

☑️Create a classroom where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
☑️Encourage questions, creativity, and respectful discussions. 📚
☑️Correct with patience and guide with kindness.
❌ DON’T embarrass students for mistakes or slow learning.
❌ DON’T let anger speak louder than your lesson.

A positive classroom grows confident learners. So, teach with passion, lead with patience, and watch young minds grow beautifully. 💯🤗

Nobody is going to say this to you directly, so I will.

That relationship may be affecting your health more than you realise.

Not just emotionally.

Physically too.

Constant shouting.
Long periods of silence after conflict.
Feeling belittled in front of other people.
Walking on eggshells inside your own home.
Living in a state of tension where your body never truly relaxes.

Many people call it “stress.”

But chronic emotional distress affects far more than mood alone.

When the body stays under emotional pressure for long periods, stress hormones like cortisol remain elevated for too long.

And when cortisol stays high constantly, the body begins changing in ways people do not immediately connect to emotional health.

Blood pressure rises.
Sleep becomes poor.
The heart works harder.
Blood vessels remain tighter.
Inflammation increases.
Visceral fat begins accumulating around organs.
Hormones become disrupted.

Over time, the body starts functioning as though it is constantly preparing for danger.

I have seen people with blood pressure readings that seemed confusing at first glance.

They did not smoke.
They barely drank alcohol.
Their weight was not extreme.
Their meals were relatively balanced.

But their nervous system was under relentless emotional strain every single day.

And nobody had ever asked what their home environment felt like.

Because many health conversations focus only on symptoms and medication while ignoring the environment the body returns to every night.

Medication matters.

Food matters.

Sleep matters.

But emotional safety matters too.

A body cannot fully recover while living in constant survival mode.

Chronic stress affects the heart, hormones, digestion, appetite, blood sugar regulation, and long-term metabolic health.

That is why health is bigger than calories alone.

Sometimes the body is not simply “failing.”

Sometimes it is exhausted.

The plate will always matter.

But sometimes one of the most important questions is this:

What kind of environment does your body return to after every meal?

How many people read this and quietly recognised parts of their own life?
