Logo design sketch for a brand identity project for ROVR®

Nothing much for now about the brand, sit tight and enjoy the process. More on this project much later.

SKETCHING is the part of MY design process that I really really enjoy, though it is not easy in the beginning but once it start, I just keep going till nothing is in my head again to drop on the paper.

Sincerely I don’t preach a perfect creative process like every other person do. I jump steps sometimes but you see sketching, it’s a prerequisite for a well thought out and properly crafted brand identity project by me. I know a lot of designers ideate on their previous blank canvas (which is while I said there is no perfect creative process). But for me, ideation on paper is so delicious at least for the initial stage.

Some time ago, I stumbled on 's story. Not the rockets. Not the missions. But the brand.

Something about it struck me; the simplicity, the quiet boldness, the confidence in its design. It wasn’t just a logo; it was a statement.

And I remember thinking to myself, “Why not build something like this in my own time?”

Fast forward to one slow weekend ; few tasks, a curious mind, and that thought echoing in the back of my head. I pulled out my sketchpad, played with shapes, explored names, and after a while, something started forming: something that felt limitless.

That’s how ASTRAX was born.

At first, I kept it buried in a folder on my system. Maybe I wasn’t ready to show it. Maybe I wanted it to breathe on its own.

"A great idea left in the dark is no different from an idea that never existed."

So here it is; Astrax, a concept inspired by space, exploration, and the endless human drive to reach beyond what’s KNOWN (X).
