Tension gripped the National Assembly today as Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe stormed into the Senate chamber waving a giant Biafran flag, demanding the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The usually calm lawmaker erupted in fury, shouting:

“Enough is enough! My brother is sick, yet you keep him in detention while Bko Hram members walk free! Nothing will move in this Senate until Nnamdi Kanu is released to me!”
