Is it right for a lady to answer her husband "Sir" in this dispensation?

In 1 Peter 3:6 is recorded how Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord.

This was a sign of respect and reverence, and not worship. It expressed honor towards her husband’s leadership within the home — a cultural and relational gesture of esteem.

In this modern times, the spirit of that act of respect, submission, and honor is still encouraged. But the "expression" may differ culturally.

Today, most women would express that same reverence by showing support, respect, and love — not necessarily by calling their husbands “lord” or "sir."

In summary:
It is possible a woman can call her husband sir or lord, but not mandatory or expected.
The principle behind it (honor and submission) is timeless.
The wording of that honor can still adapt to modern culture, as long as the heart of respect remains.

Ephesians 5:33 sums it up well: “...and the wife must respect her husband.”

Six (6) Reasons Snakes May Stop Avoiding Repellent Plants

1. Reduced Potency of the Plants chemical concentration due to environmental changes such as poor soil quality, climate change, or altered plant genetics. As a result, the plants may no longer release enough odor or toxin to repell snakes.

2. Environmental Factors such as Heavy rainfall, humidity, or strong winds can wash away or disperse the active scent compounds in the plants. This reduces their effectiveness, making snakes less likely to avoid them.

3. Habitat Loss: If snakes lose their natural habitats due to deforestation, urbanization, or farming, they may invade areas they once avoided, including those with repellent plants, in search of shelter, food, or warmth.

4. Olfactory Desensitization

Constant exposure to certain plant odors might cause olfactory fatigue—a condition where the snakes’ sense of smell becomes less responsive to the repellent scent over time.

5. Changes in Snake Diet/Behavior

A change in snakes’ diet or survival instincts can make them prioritize prey availability over avoidance instincts. Hunger or mating drives could push them into areas with repellent plants even when they're not comfortable in that environment.

6. Hybridization or Change in Snake Species In Some Regions

The emergence of new or hybrid snake species that are not affected by the traditional repellent plants that worked on older local species.
