As it stands now, I strongly advocate for DNA tests after each childbirth 👌✍️ Because honestly, what is all this?
Women, this is not what we are known for. Where is our dignity going?
This allegedly happened in Enugu Ezike. The woman had been sick for a long time and despite several hospital visits, nothing was found. According to the story, they later decided to seek traditional spiritual intervention, where she was asked to confess before cleansing rites were carried out.
That was when she reportedly confessed that none of her five children belonged biologically to her husband, and that a Rev. Fr she had known since seminary days was the biological father.
If this story is truly accurate, then this is heartbreaking on many levels.
But honestly, I keep asking why? Why destroy homes, trust, children’s identities, and people’s peace like this?
Women, please maintain healthy boundaries with spiritual leaders. Ndi CWO too, stay aware. And husbands, ask questions when your wife becomes overly attached or emotionally too close to a priest or pastor. Respect is important, but there should always be limits.
Rev. Frs, priests, and pastors are still human beings with blood flowing in their veins, which is why boundaries and self-control are important for everybody.
Trust, faithfulness, and honesty still matter in marriage. Without them, society keeps losing its values little by little.
Things dey happen. 😭
I just feel for the husband 😭
