Nnamdi Azikiwe Jailed Nnamdi Kanu.

It was not Tinubu who jailed Kanu.

It was not Justice Omotosho who jailed Kanu.

It was not Nigerian government who Jailed Kanu.

It was not the Yoruba who Jailed Kanu.

And it was not the Fulani who Jailed kan.

But It was Nnamdi Azikiwe who Jailed kanu. Yes!

You ask me how?

Let's explore.

The shortsightedness and greediness of Nnamdi Azikiwe jailed Nnamdi kanu today.

I will likened Nnamdi Kanu Predicament to what bible says in the book of Ezekiel 18:2c, which says The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on the edge.

The fruit of the tree which Nnamdi Azikiwe planted yesterday is what Namadi Kanu has eaten today.

In 1953 and 1954 during the London and Lagos constitutional conference respectively, Awolowo mooted the idea of secession clause to be added into our constitution but the idea was rejected by ZIk.

1953- Awolowo first proposed the secession clause at the London conference, arguing for the right of region to self determination. Nnamdi Azikiwe vehemently opposed it, and the British colonial secretary sided with Azikiwe.

1954- Awolowo who had seen today, again tabled the motion at the Lagos constitutional conference for the second time, but the idea was also rejected by Azikiwe and a majority of the attendees. Azikiwe argued for an indivisible and perpetual federation, and the claus was not added to the constitution.

It was because of this Azikiwe action that section 86 was inserted into Nigeria constitution with the provision that if any region should secede, it would be an act of treason.

And that section of constitution is what Nigerian government used to judge Nnamdi kanu today and sent Sunday Igboho on exile.

I will still maintain my stand and continue saying it that Nnamdi Kanu was not Jailed mainly because of Terrorism, but was Jailed mainly for Treason.

Nigerian government doesn't have any problems with Terrorism, because they themselves are terrorists.

The only people they have problem with are Seccessionists.

They just used terrorism as an excuse to jailed kanu.

That's why today's conviction of Nnamdi Kanu is not a moment of celebration for anyone who truly understands the struggle for self-determination. I may not share his ideology, I may strongly reject his hateful words toward the Yoruba, and I do not support the violence that has harmed innocent Igbo people… but even with all that, there is nothing in this moment that brings joy to my spirit.

Why?

Because the oppression of one nation under Nigeria’s failed structure is a reminder of what can also happen to any other nation seeking freedom. When the state uses power this way, it shows again that this union was never built on justice, equality, or voluntary partnership. It reinforces exactly why the Yoruba nation must control its own destiny.

But let it be clear:

This is not a victory for the Yoruba.

This is not a defeat of separatism.

And this is not a progress for Nigeria.

A government that silences agitators instead of addressing foundational injustice is only delaying the inevitable.
A system built on force, not consent, has already failed and today's event only exposes the cracks deeper.

As Yoruba nationalist, I do not rejoice in the suffering of other oppressed people — even those whose paths I do not agree with.
My struggle is rooted in dignity, order, culture, civilization, and the right to self-govern.
I do not need another man’s downfall to validate the mission for e seprate Yoruba nation.

The truth is simple:

Nigeria is a broken project.
Self-determination is the only path to peace.
And every event like this only confirms that no nation trapped in this union is truly free.

Let others celebrate if they choose.
I, a Yoruba man who could be charged for treason under the 1999 constitution tomorrow , remain focused on our own journey — of an unstoppable march toward sovereignty.

Copied!

We all know that political violence has no place in a free society. Any attempt on human’s life is not just an attack on an individual but on democracy itself. Such acts undermine our core values of peace, dialogue, and freedom. We must stand united in condemning them, strengthen accountability and security, and reaffirm our commitment to civil discourse; before violence replaces debate.

Charlie Kirk was only an activist, expressing his opinion on what he assume to be right. Why don’t you also come up with a well articulated argument to counter everything he’s known for rather than aiding his assassination?

That’s so barbaric, totally unacceptable and disgusting! And I hope that this perpetrator is brought to justice!Rest on Legend!!!
