The death of Mrs. Osinachi Nwachukwu and people's social media reactions to the ugly incidence with respect to the role of domestic violence in her death will surely bring negative trend in modern marriages and relationships if not properly handled. It takes a very sound sense of judgement to maintain ur balance in ur marriage or relationship after going through the series of versions of the stories geared towards reacting to the incidence of the death of Osinachi. Marriages in Africa has been peaceful until feminism was introduced and popularized by people like Magaret Thatcher, Ester Boserup, Fumilayo Ransome Kuti and the likes. Their efforts were geared towards overthrowing the reign of patriarchy (Male Domination) in the society especially in the area of economy. They succeeded in including women in most leading political and socio-economic spheres of live maintaining that what a man can do a woman can equally do that. Now most wome misintepreted the concept of feminism and caitalized on the notion of what a man can do a woman can equally do it and absolute gender equality to justify the act of challenging their husbands which is not actually the message of feminism. Ester Boserup that is among the leading feminist theorists said that she doesn't answer her husband's call without kneeling down. But average women who couldn't understand it stopped being submissive to their husbands and that accounts for the most of the problems of modern families. Now following the death of Osinachi, they have come up with the (LEAVE TO LIVE) campaing. Most women who may not understand again might think that divorce is the best way to settle conflicts in marriage. Women that are mostly obeying the law of nature based on the principle of maximizing pleasure and avoiding pains will quit their marriage because their husband failed to buy chicken on sunday. Be guided in what u hear and how to apply them in ur marriage.
