The unity of Nigeria is best practised by the Igbo. This is shown in the following:

1. Ndigbo wear the Hausa attire and cap more often than they wear the Igbo attires. Hausa and Yoruba and indeed other tribes don't wear that of Igbo except for political campaign outing in the South East.

2. Igbo people invest in all the parts of Nigeria, live there, develop there to an enviable height and turn there into trade hubs. It's not like that with other tribes. Other tribes don't return same gesture to the Igbo areas.

3. Igbo men marry from all parts of the country, but it's not so with the men of other ethnic groups.

4. Igbo people don't depend on the proceeds from government to feed or get their places developed. In the other parts of the country, government does everything.

This is just to mention but a few. If other tribes can do half of the things Ndigbo do in all parts of Nigeria, the unity of the country would have been watertight. Ndigbo aren't getting the desired accolades from the Nigerian societies.

My personal opinion on the upcoming nationwide protest in Nigeria.

The Igbos have strived for the betterment of this country. We have tried to educate people not to elect incompetent leaders. Instead, we were killed for voting for the most qualified candidate. They told us they would teach us a lesson by voting for their tribal and religious candidate.

Now they are planning a protest, which is a very good idea, but please, there should be no protest in Southeast Nigeria for good governance. If any Igbo person wants to join the protest, let it be in the West and North.

The President does not live in the East. There's no presidential lodge, Police headquarters, Army, Navy, Air Force headquarters, sea port, or international airport in the East. Those who want to protest should target where these facilities are located, not the East.

If the protest will improve the country, it will benefit everyone. So let them fight for us on this one. This is my opinion on this proposed protest.

The richest soil in southeast Nigeria is Ebonyi state.
It has zinc, precious stones, cement and other building raw materials.

NIGERCEM cement factory is also in the state. These have attracted number of Chinese companies and entrepreneurs, amongst other foreigners to the state.

There is also the Uburu salt lake and Afikpo beach which are important tourist sites that offer satisfaction to tourists, as well as historical sites.

Ebonyi has attractive rice farms Mills mainly in Ezillo, Ikwo and Abakaliki capital, producing enough rice. It also has the sweetest rice that has a gauging taste, popularly know as Abakaliki rice😋

Ebonyi is also made up of distinct ethnolinguistic groups of the Igbo segment; There are the Orring group, Igbo-esa, Abakaliki, Ngbo, Agba, Ohanivo, Afikpo-Edda.
The Orring group are also found in states like Benue, Cross River, AkwaIbom and Rivers States.
