Unknown g b*head Anambra lawmaker, Okoye, after abd him

The lawmaker representing Aguata North, in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Okechukwu Okoye, has been behe@ded by his abd .

His sev head was found on Saturday, May 21, at Nnobi in Idemili South LGA of the state, the state police command said in a statement.

The deceased lawmaker, who represented the constituency of the State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo in the State House of Assembly, was kidn@pped on May 15, alongside Cyril Chiegboka, his campaign director, in Aguata.

Confirming the development, the command’s spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga, said, “His head was found along Nnobi road on Saturday. There is no suspect in custody yet.”

Meanwhile, the Anambra governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has offered N10 million as reward for anyone with useful information on the m of Okechukwu.

Christian Aburime, spokesman to the governor, made this known in a statement on Saturday.

According to TheCable, he said, “Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has received with shock and deep sadness the news of the gruesome m of Hon. Okechukwu Okoye.

He has vowed that the perpetrators as well as all cri operating in Anambra must be decisively brought to book. He has placed a N10 million reward for anyone or group that will avail valuable information that will lead to the immediate arrest of the perpetrators of this d@stardly act.”

To all our Igbo, Yoruba and Southern Christians resident in Northern Nigeria, today we specially write to sympathize as well as fellowship with you in your pains over the attacks, assaults and killings you suffer from over your lives and properties. We want to make it clear that we detest to see how you are always treated despite the development you brought to Northern Nigeria.

Hatred for the Igbo, Yoruba and Southern Christians living in northern Nigeria is one of the fundamental teachings every northern Muslim receives right from an early age. This teaching has nothing to do with the cultures of the Northerners but their religious teachings. Almost Every Muslim in Northern Nigeria is raised and indoctrinated to believe that you people are infidels and half bred humans (although that's how all the indigenous northern Christians are seen and treated as well).

These people laugh and relate with you when they want something from you but mistreat you when you want something from them. They burn your businesses, houses and kill people at the slightest opportunity with or without any provocations. They believe that "Sabo da Kaza baya hana yanka", in other words your friendship with them is as good as that of a chicken. A chicken is rared only for the day of slaughter. No matter how big or good it is, it is only good for slaughtering no matter how long it takes.

It pains us to see such continued. We cannot relate why shops and business are always plundered, burnt down and lives killed over and over again. This has been the fate and experiences of the Igbo, Yoruba and Southern Christians living in Northern Nigeria.

IGBO TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE OUTSIDE IGBOLAND.

In the past two months, I have received three invitations to attend a traditional marriage of an Igbo man and woman here at Abuja. I missed the other two but attended the one today at a hotel hall. It looks like a wedding reception. Everything went on fine and the items on the lists were monetized. I asked the brother to the bride their reasons for choosing Abuja , he told me that their area in Anambra was under a seige of the unknown gun men.

He bitterly complained that twice that they tried the traditional marriage, they aborted because UGM demanded 5 million from them. It has been confirmed by many now that in some parts of Imo and Anambra states, that you will pay "the boys in the forest " heavy levy before you can bury someone or have any social event.
Indeed, we live in an interesting time as Igbos
