YOU CANNOT FAST WITHOUT PRAYER ~

Almost every time FASTING is used in THE BIBLE, prayer is added.
This type goeth not but by what? PRAYER AND FASTING (Matthew 17:21).
When JESUS was teaching about FASTING in Matthew 6, PRAYER was also taught there.
You can't separate FASTING from PRAYER. Because when a man fasts, he is trying to SEEK THE FACE OF GOD.
The FASTING separates him from WORLDLY distractions. But it is PRAYER that carries him into the GOD REALM.
GOD does not move because you fast. You're the one who moves.
And so if you separate yourself from food through FASTING and you don't move in the direction of GOD through PRAYER, any other thing you do at that time, the IMPACT will be str0ngër because your SPIRIT at that time has become more sensitive.
If you watch movies at that time, a DEMON of lust can enter into you.
Because your antenna is sharp.
The moment you start FASTING and m0rt!fy!ng the flesh, you notice that your SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY begins to increase.
It will be unwise to do so, without PRAYING.
Because when your antenna is sensitive, that's when you want to receive feedback. And PRAYER is what ensures that it is from GOD you're receiving your feedback.
So, the best way to fast is to FAST WITH PRAYER.
If you know that your itinerary is too ch0këd and you won't have TIME TO PRAY, reschedule that fast, so that ev!l (anyhow things) don't enter YOUR SOUL, because your soul is too porous when you fast.
The reason YOU PRAY WHEN YOU FAST is because you want GOD to saturate you.
If you don't give GOD THAT TIME through PRAYER, something else can saturate you very easily.
And so, FASTING must be done with PRAYER.
If there's no PRAYER, it's not FASTING. It's called hunger strike.
Many people go on 40 DAYS FAST, but all of the PRAYERS PRAYED is not upto 3 hours when put together.
They counted days but they never met GOD IN THE SPIRIT.
And they come back and say they FASTED FOR 40 DAYS.
No, you didn't.
FASTING must be done with PRAYER.
When JESUS went into the wilderness to fast, in Matthew chapter 4, the Bible said HE PRAYED AND FASTED FOR 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS.
He didn't only fast for 40 days.
He PRAYED AND FASTED for 40 days.
That's how it is done.
Many BELIEVERS are marking time instead of marking THE SPIRIT, and say they're fasting.
This is why you don't come out with the BENEFITS OF FASTING, which is the one of SPIRITUAL EXERCISES that made JESUS power during His time on earth.
If you don't FAST CORRECTLY, the guarantee of having those benefits is not there.
You can only receive the benefits when you fast correctly.
