"BECAUSE A MAN SAID YES" — HAPPY BIRTHDAY APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN

"Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.” 1 Timothy 5:17 (KJV)

Because a man said yes, millions found language for their destinies. The weary found rest, the broken found healing, and the hungry encountered truth. He came not just with charisma, but with fire, depth, and a divine mandate for our generation.

In a world captivated by noise, he modeled the power of silence. In an age driven by platforms, he returned us to the altar. Amid the chase for relevance, he revealed the beauty of surrender. He taught us to seek Jesus Christ; not merely His gifts. To carry fire, not just titles. To build altars, not empires. To love deeply, pray fervently, and serve faithfully.

To some, he is a preacher. To others, a prophet, a mentor, an apostle. But to us, he is a Father. Apostle Joshua Selman, your life is proof that the price for all of God is all of us and that a man can truly walk with God. You've not just preached the Word; you have become it. And so, we pray: May your days be long, your peace be deep, and your crown, weighty with souls. May the oil upon your life never run dry, may the heavens over you remain open, may your reward be eternal, and your strength multiplied.

We honour you. We celebrate you. We bless you.

Imagine them hugging their families and love ones at the airport, bidding them a good bye.

To some, it was a dream of many years and nights. They were excited. Probably took pictures for good memories, not knowing it will become a painful memorial.

I have many questions to ask, but this is too painful to accept. 200 lives with only one survivor.

A painful reminder that life itself is fleeting. And no one has a timer, reminder or alarm on when dead will come knocking.

A painful reminder yet, that everyday should be lived intentionally and purposefully.

This scripture is becoming clearer "TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS, THAT WE MAY APPLY OUT HEARTS TO WISDOM."

May their souls rest in perfect peace 🙏

You travel, you move around the community around 2:AM... Everybody is asleep and snoring, you know why?
They work during the day but how many did productive work?

Playing AYO after some time, then you say to yourself my God I'm tired.
You are working but working at nothing, working at nothing playing draft. So in the evening he's in the night snoring, it's been a very busy day, I tell you ah.. (such a statement)

Busy day on the phone, chatting nonsense.

There's no old man who was not once young, you don't get young after you are old.

Time wasters are losers in the race of life.
All time wasters are losers. If you check that same episode in luke 19 vs 12 - 13 "occupy till i come and he gives each of them a pound, each in 10 seconds.

Time is an asset of equality no one has it more than another. Everybody has 24 hours to himself by divine endowment. Same allocation to the rich and to the poor, the kings and the peasants, everybody one pound of talent.

The only pound of thing I know is time, 24 hours allocation to everybody, everybody and everybody.

Some will trade their one pound and make 10 more and deliver over ten cities the same period and some would get condemnation for it and for during nothing with it.

We must awake to make the most of our time because the days are evil.

I'm not perfect yet but a work in progress to the demands of God's work.
It is only God that has the final say over our life, not what the world sees in our outer selves.
Our minds and thoughts are known to him alone.
May we never be forgotten and may you deeply prepare us towards achieving the goal and in my daily prayer and the daily prayer I would love us all to always pray is;
"GOD HELP ME"
because it has only been God.

She was drowning.
And nobody noticed…
Nobody, except her.

It was June 2022, at the World Championships in Budapest.
Anita Álvarez, an American artistic swimmer with Mexican roots, was performing a flawless routine.
But when her performance ended… she didn’t come up for air.

She had lost consciousness.
Her body floated for a few seconds, then began to sink.
Slowly. All the way to the bottom of the pool.

The audience didn’t notice. Neither did the judges.
Everyone was clapping.

But her coach, Andrea Fuentes, noticed.
She knew Anita—knew exactly how long it took her to surface.
She felt in her heart that something was wrong.

Without thinking twice, she dove in.
Fully dressed. Shoes and all.

She swam straight down, grabbed Anita by the waist,
and brought her back up.
She saved her life.

This story left me thinking…

Who knows you well enough to notice when you’re not okay, even if you’re still smiling?
Who would dive in for you without hesitation when you no longer have the strength to come up for air?

And more importantly…

Would you be that person for someone else?
Are you present enough in your loved ones’ lives to sense the moment they start to sink?
Or are you just another spectator, clapping, not realizing that inside, they’re fading?

In this life, we all need someone who doesn’t just see us—
but truly notices us.
Someone who knows when we’re about to give up,
and has the courage to jump in and save us.

It has always been God who has been stepping forward for us not to give up.
May his name alone be praise and glorify, Amen.

It is a place where God sends the FALLEN ANGELS including SATAN.
It is a place where God sends the UNREPENTANT SINNERS.

And it is also the reason why JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS, so that we have an opportunity NOT TO BE IN THERE!

Repent from our sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The kingdom of God is at hand! 🙏

My wife died due to my absence because Satan attacked her when I was absent, I’m now avenging her against Satan says Pastor Kumuyi

The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has recounted the circumstances surrounding the death of his first wife, while blaming his absence from home for her passing.

The late Abiodun Kumuyi died on April 11, 2009, at the age of 57, after a brief illness.

The couple got married on September 13, 1980, making their marriage span approximately 28 years.

The union was blessed with two children: Jeremiah and John.

Kumuyi later remarried in London on October 13, 2010.

The revered holiness preacher, while speaking during the Global Workers’ Conference at the Deeper Life International Conference Centre, decried his first wife’s death, saying the devil took advantage of his absence while he was ministering at the church’s retreat that day.

“I was preaching here on Saturday, 11th April 2009, and the devil worked on my absence. My wife was at home because she had a challenge. I was driving out, the devil came, but I did not remember to close the spiritual door that nobody will sneak into that place (his house) and when I finished the Faith Clinic that morning, I received a message that my beloveth wife was gone.

“I ran to IBTC (home); I saw it had happened and I met some people there; they were praying and the Lord assured me that I should let it go, let that go, don’t bother about it,” the cleric said.

Despite the tragedy, Kumuyi said he chose not to dwell in sorrow but to turn the pain into spiritual passion to intensify his global evangelical mission.

He described the next move of his ministry as a “revenge” against the devil.

The cleric noted that the death of his wife marked the end of a painful chapter in his life, adding that the devil stood no chance of repeating such a tragedy in his household or ministry again.

“I let it (his wife’s death) go, but from that day, I said ‘that one happened, this other one will no more happen.’

“Since that time, for me to revenge on the devil, I have gone to many places since she left, I have covered most of the local governments in Nigeria, I have gone to almost all the nations of Africa, I have gone to all the continents of the world, blind eyes have opened, deaf ears have opened, the lame had risen up and walk and now I am getting to another level, the dead has now been raised and so I have come to tell you, those that have gone have gone, water under the bridge that has gone is gone, all that has gone has gone, now in your family you will be in charge.

“Anywhere I go, now I will be in charge. Nothing will be allowed to steal anything away,” Kumuyi added.

Finally, my birth week ends today ❤️ Previously, it had seemed like I was 100 days away from it but, here I go.

Emmanuel bought Okada and started riding. He told his father that he will like to further his education, his father told him that he doesn't have the financial capacity. He told his father not to worry that he will be paying his school fees from monies he will be getting from his Okada business. His father said okay. Emmanuel started school and sponsored himself with money he was getting from the Okada business. His father was helping as little as he could too. After 4 years in school, Emmanuel graduated and came home, he lied down to thank his father for his support, his father blessed him. He started celebrating his graduation like tomorrow no dey. On his way to meet his other friends celebrating ad well, he had an acdnt and d i e d. Oh, |Ife! He was b u ri ed today. |f you're n o t happy over this youth's d e th, s-a-y R. |. P
