WIKE AND THE NEGATIVE ENERGY OF OUR LEADERS

Wike symbolizes all that's wrong with public office holders in the country. I don't know how his empty rant in front of camera on Monday can be a manifesto or a to-do-list of a newly minted minister.
If he really mean business, the first structure to demolish in this Abuja is the American Embassy building which is a glaring distortion of urban planning. I'm careful not to use "master plan" because I'm sure they got the allocation and necessary approval for the structure from the Development Control. That was how El-Rufai as a minister put the owner of Bolingo Hotels on the run until he met his untimely death in a plane crash while looking for who to help him beg the minister.
Some of the structures being tagged illegal were allocated by the FCTA and a perfect example is the TradeMore Estate in Lugbe now being penciled down for demolition. I still remember when the Federal Housing Authority - FHA was partnering with them to build the Estate.

Abuja is a Federal Capital City living in self-denial. Over 70 percent of people working in the city live either in Nasarawa or Niger State. While the FCTA enjoy the receipt of PAYEE for these people, other States bear the burden of their wellbeing.

Imagine if Wike had used his first official outing to give people hope on Housing, improvement in the transport infrastructure, more jobs and others.
A City with no designated bus stops yet government agencies keep arresting people for stopping on the highway is where Wike want to restore an imaginary master plan.

Truth is that Abuja as a city has outgrown the plan put together by the military in the 80s and to become a hero of the city as a minister today, you need to put together a team that can re-map the city and review the master plan in such a way that it can accommodate present realities.
Demolition of people's houses should never be a government policy like Wike has elevated it.

Rt. Hon. Joseph Ojobo, the senatorial candidate of the Party said he was a member of the PDP for over 20 years and was sworn-in as Vice Chairman in Ogbadibo Local Government on 3 different occasions. He said he was later elected into the House of Assembly where he served meritoriously without blemish for 2 terms.
Hon. Ojobo said he won the 2018 senatorial primary election of the PDP but was manipulated out and has come to accept it as the will of God. He said Labour Party is owned by the suffering Nigerian masses which includes the Nigerian Labour Congress - NLC and the Trade Union Congress - TUC. He said he's glad by the new youth surge in the Party as it's a step to take their destiny in their own hands.
He enjoined those present to take the message home and make sure the party triumph in the general election right from the House of Assembly to the presidency.

The ranks of the “Obi-dient soldiers” in Benue South increased on Sunday as more familiar faces on the political scene moved to the emerging 3rd force, The Labour Party to team up with Rt. Hon. Joseph Ojobo, the senatorial candidate of the Party for the 2023 election. At a stakeholders meeting o...

I shall continue to drive the narrative that we can do it as a people and we MUST all work assiduously to enthrone competence and capacity as opposed to mediocrity. Change may be difficult but it is imperative if we want to progress as a people and that is why we need someone who is an encapsulation of vision, experience, exposure and integrity who will take the business of governance more seriously as opposed to one who would be more concerned about the euphoria and paraphernalia of power . This is why I seek the mandate .

My aspiration to become your senator which is hinged on my legislative agenda lives. As a true Idoma son , I believe that we have what it takes to turnaround the state particularly Benue south (Zone C) by using whatever position we occupy to achieve the objective. I shall continue to drive the narra...

Through effective representation in the Senate, we hope to transform Idoma land and make it a true home for all our people.

I am Hon. Hassan Anthony Saleh . By the special grace of God and with the kind support of my constituents, I was a representative of the good people of Ado, Ogbadibo and Okpokwu Federal Constituency, in the House of Representatives. I am offering my humble self for your consideration to represent th...

To support the claim by Rt. Hon. Hassan Anthony Saleh that he achieved a lot as Member Representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency, his campaign office has availed Emocheonline.com some pictorial evidence, prominent among which is a solar powered ICT Centre at Moro Memorial College, Okwunga in Okpokwu Local Government.

Speaking on behalf of the Saleh For Senate Campaign Council, Hon Frank Onuh, Former Leader of Ogbadibo Legislative Council said they would want the campaign to be issue and evidence based devoid of mud slinging.
Hon. Frank insisted his Principal achieved a whole lot as Rep Member and will put it out for the public to judge for themselves in the days ahead.
He said he’s not surprised that those who benefitted the most from Saleh’s sojourn at the National Assembly are the ones challenging him to a show of scorecard but promised they would get it at the appropriate time.
