Revenue Generation: CBAAC commits to promoting cultural dynamics of 4 Kebbi emirates - D-G, Adamu-Augie

The Director- General of Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilisation , Hon. Aisha Adamu-Augie, has reiterated the commitment of the centre to promoting cultural dynamics of the four Kebbi emirates for revenue generation and job creation.
Adamu-Augie, stated this in an interview with Newsmen in Yauri Local Government Area on Saturday .
" It is important for us to preserve, propagate and promote our culture, history and civilisation.
" It was very important to come to Yauri to attend the just concluded Rigatta Annual Cultural Festival and I was honoured to be made Chairman of the cultural night.
" To be honest, the number of activities and talents we saw was beautiful, as we have people coming from all nooks and crannies in Nigeria and even as far as Mali, Benin and Niger Republics.
" You can see many of these things that connect us and make us different. The event promotes unity, understanding and progress," she said.
Adamu-Augie emphasised the importance of exploring cultural dynamics of Argungu, Yauri, Gwandu and Zuru Emirates for revenue generation and wealth creation in the state.
" It is important for us to engage and ensure that revenue generation happens, job creation happens, and engage people within their own cultural and social context.
" As for us at the centre, we are ready to work together to unlock the full potential of Africaβs creative economy, and to promote a cultural renaissance that celebrates our diversity, creativity, and resilience.
" We are making efforts in repositioning the centre to yield significant results, with CBAAC becoming a hub for cultural exchange and enrichment.
