Biafra; MASSOB Woos US To Support UN Principle Of Self-Determination

The leadership of Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, and Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra otherwise known as (BIM-MASSOB) on Saturday, called on developed countries of the world particularly, the United States, to among other things exercise the will to honour and support the United Nations principle of Self-Determination in West Africa Sub-region.

BIM-MASSOB's call is contained in a statement made available to Newsmen and signed by the Director of information/Senior Special Assistant to BİM-MASSOB on Media and Publicity, Mazi Chris Mocha, also appealing to the United States to avoid double standards permitting Self-Determination only in Europe and America, for example , while at the same time denying the same right for West Africa -- in this case , Biafra, because we are blacks.

MASSOB gave obvious example of this to include former Yugoslavia, former USSR, Spain, Indonesia, Georgia, Montenegro, East -Timor, Serbia, Kosovo and in Africa, Sudan.

The group restated its earlier position that the pursuit of Self-Determination by its leader, Barr. (Chief) Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike , and the members of his organization can not be unlawful or illegal; and especially, when Self-Determination is being carried out using Non-violent and Non-exodus methods.

Going down memory lane, BİM-MASSOB stressed that the British Empire which created the expired amalgamation of Southern and Northern protectorates in 1914, separated Pakistan from India.

Soviet Union in 1991 was divided into 15 independent States just as
Czechoslovakia had in 1992 separated into Czech and Slovakia Republics.

The statement added that Eritrea in 1991 went their separate ways from Ethiopia just as Singapore also separated from Malaysia.

Sweden also separated from Norway, the tiny population of East Timor of about 821, 000 during this period under review in May 21, 2002 separated from Indonesia.

Serbia and Montenegro after a referendum conducted on Sunday, November 12th and Monday 13th 2006 during a world football tournament separated into two Republics.

İn Africa South Sudan also separated from Sudan on July 9, 2011.

Kosovo, a part of Serbia and a tiny population of about 2 .2 million people also gained her Independence on February 17, 2008.

İf these ethnic nationalities in Europe and America could be divided why not recognize Biafra in West Africa sub- region; İs it because we are black people, MASSOB asks the United President Donald Trump.

İt is on record that the 1974 Yugoslav constitution had laid down Kosovo's status as an autonomous province of Serbia but pressure for Independence mounted in the 1980s shortly after the death of Yugoslav President Josip.Broz Tito.

Kosovo later hit the international headlines in the late 1990s when forces under Yugoslav President Slobodan Miloservic attempted. to suppress the ethnic Albanian majority.

Biafrans need justice here having suffered persecutions and wasted more human lives of over 3 million during the 1967 -- 1970 civil war with Nigeria.

Biafrans also lost properties more than these smaller countries with lesser populations that have been granted Independence in Europe and America.

Accusing the United Nations, UN, for not being proactive in dealing with cases in Africa until such problems results to civil conflict and war, for example, Southern Sudan (Darfur Region), Biafra, Congo, Somalia, Rwanda, Sierre-leone, among others, MASSOB said UN waited till the problems of these African countries including Biafra escalated to war and Genocide.

BİM-MASSOB appeals to the leader of a Free world and representative of the American people, Mr. Donald Trump to recognize Biafra as an İndependent, Sovereign State from Nigeria.

Uwazuruike Choses Peace, And Gave Biafra a Future Beyond the Battlefield

While two roads faced Biafra. He chose the one that saves lives, not ends them.

When a people are pushed to the edge: when their homes, culture, and very existence are under siege, history offers them two final roads:

1. The road of military retaliation — armed resistance, bloodshed, and endless destruction.
2. The road of peaceful separation — dialogue, diplomacy, legal justice, and moral clarity.

Both claim to lead to safety. But only one truly does.

Look at the ongoing Israel–Iran conflict. The moment Israel sensed an existential threat, missiles flew. Military zones were hit, skies lit up with explosions, and the world called it “self-defense.”

But what followed?
Backdoor negotiations. Urgent calls for restraint. Ceasefire agreements. After the destruction and loss, they still returned to the table they tried to avoid.

War may shout louder, but peace always waits at the end.

Now, consider Biafra.
Facing cultural erasure, political exclusion, and repeated violence, the conditions for armed resistance were more than present.

But instead of raising guns, Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike chose a different kind of power: He chose the road less taken, but more transformative: Non-violence, Peaceful protest, Legal and diplomatic engagement, International advocacy for justice etc

He made it clear: “Even if world powers arm us today, we will never go to war again.
Because in the end, you will still ask us to sit at the table.”

Why walk through the graveyard just to get to the peace table?

War delivers headlines. But peace builds legacies. Retaliation may feel powerful in the moment, but its cost is irreversible. Innocent lives lost. Nations shattered. Generations traumatized.

Peaceful separation, though slow and steep, does something no missile can: It preserves dignity. It invites healing. It earns a moral voice the world cannot ignore forever.

Biafra is not asking for weapons. We are asking for recognition. For the world to stop rewarding conflict in some regions, and ignoring peaceful cries in others.

If war brings peace to Europe, let peace bring justice to Africa.

Because every existential threat, whether in Gaza, Ukraine, or Biafra, must be solved, not with bullets, but with wisdom.

Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike did not just reject war, he redefined strength in a world that often confuses violence for courage. And in doing so, he gave Biafra a chance to be heard, not feared.

Nigeria’s Unity Is a Lie Sustained by Oppression — Six Republics Are the Only Path to True Peace

"You cannot build unity on blood and lies. We choose truth, and that truth is Biafra,” Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike emphasized.

What kind of unity kills your people, silences your voice, and still demands your loyalty?

This is the question at the heart of the peaceful emancipation struggle led by Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike, founder of BIM-MASSOB and Father of the New Biafra. He has long maintained that Nigeria’s salvation lies not in forced unity, but in the peaceful division into six self-governing republics—one for each major geopolitical zone. A model not only for Biafrans, but for all ethnic nationalities suffering under the weight of this colonial creation called Nigeria.

As Nigeria turns 64 in 2025, millions—especially in the South East, see nothing to celebrate. While the world praises Nigeria as a model of democracy and unity, the truth on the ground tells a far darker story—of ethnic domination, state-sanctioned injustice, economic exploitation, and deliberate underdevelopment.

Speaking at the just concluded July BIM-MASSOB and Biafra Government National Executive Meeting in Owerri, Chief Uwazuruike reignited a national conversation that many fear to confront.

Those still preaching ‘One Nigeria’ are either the direct oppressors or shameless beneficiaries of injustice.

Nigeria has always presented itself as a united nation. But behind the facade lies a country fractured by genocide, systemic marginalization, and political deceit.

From the Biafran War to the 2003 killings of BIM-MASSOB members in Okigwe, from the bloodshed in Aba to the silencing of peaceful agitators of pro Biafran groups in throughout Biafra land, the pattern is clear: this isn’t unity. It’s occupation.

Yet amidst this, some still cry, “We are one.”

But one in what? One in pain? One in silence? One in fear of the next massacre? Or one in the corrupt pie, where a few loot while the rest starve?

There is no true nationhood here. Only a prison yard, where a privileged few act as wardens and the rest suffer as inmates.

Who Truly Wants 'One Nigeria'?
Certainly not the poor, not the Southeast or Southwest, not the Middle Belt farmers, slaughtered by terrorist herders, not the Niger Delta communities, whose oil wealth builds Abuja while their children bathe in polluted creeks.

The only people desperate to maintain the illusion of unity are: The political class, feeding fat on imbalance, the religious elites, who preach peace but weaponize division, the Northern oligarchs, with 19 states and 419 local governments, the corrupt elite, building mansions in Lagos and Abuja while abandoning their own ancestral homes

Let’s say it plainly: The unity of Nigeria is not a national ideal. It’s a business, one where the South provides the resources, and the North keeps the power.”

Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike has been consistent for decades: Nigeria must peacefully divide into six republics, each free to determine its destiny, culture, and development.

These include: Biafra (South East), Oduduwa (South West), Niger Delta (South South), Middle Belt (North Central), Arewa (North East), North West

This is not a call to war. It is a call to peace. To justice. To a future where no ethnic group dominates another, and no child grows up afraid of their identity.

Anyone still clinging to the idea of “One Nigeria” at this point, be they bishops, emirs, governors, influencers, or journalists, is either a coward or a collaborator.

Silence in the face of oppression is not neutrality. It is complicity.

Nigeria is not one. It was never one. It was a forced marriage. And like all toxic unions, it must end for healing to begin.

“We are not enemies—we are just different people forced together by colonial fraud. Let each man go with his destiny,” Uwazuruike emphasized.

Let the world hear us: The call for division is a call for dignity, not destruction. A call for freedom, not fire. A call for tomorrow, not trauma.

Unity based on bloodshed is no unity at all.

16/07/2025

Uwazuruike’s Peaceful Cry: Why Does the World Only Listen After We Bleed?

When war breaks out in the West, they respond overnight. When peace rises in Africa, they look away. Let’s not pretend anymore.

The global powers, those who claim to stand for peace, human rights, and justice, have built a pattern that we can no longer ignore. They gather in luxury halls. They sign peace accords. They give grand speeches about freedom, dignity, and democracy.

But when Africa cries out… especially when Biafra raises her peaceful voice… there’s only silence. Why?

For over 25 years now, Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike has led one of Africa’s most disciplined, non-violent liberation movements(Bim-Massob). No guns. No bombs. No terror.

Just flags, unity, marches, and unshaken belief in peaceful self-determination. But instead of recognition, what has the world offered?

Silence. Dismissal. Indifference.

Where is the United Nations? Where is the African Union? Where are the global human rights defenders? Does peace only matter when it’s coming from the West?

When conflict explodes in Europe, world leaders act within hours. When tensions rise in the Middle East, troops, aid, sanctions, and emergency sessions are mobilized immediately.

But when it’s Africa? “When it’s Biafra?”

The same powers say: “Let’s wait and see.” “Let’s monitor.” “Let’s assess the situation.”

By the time they finish assessing, people are dead. Cultures are erased. Hope is buried.

How many times must history repeat? Rwanda: The world watched, 800,000 dead. Sudan: The world watched, Darfur burned. Congo: The world watched, millions died. Nigeria: The world is watching, Biafrans suffer in silence.

And when we ask why, no one has the courage to answer.

We are not begging the world to save us. We are not asking for pity. We are demanding truth, equality, and recognition of our peaceful path.

Because if global peace conventions, international charters, and human rights organizations are truly for all people, then let them prove it in Africa. Let them prove it with Biafra.

The world powers love to send condolences, after the blood dries. They love to speak of peace, after the bombs explode. But what about before the crisis?

Why ignore the voices of people who are choosing peace before the war? Why overlook a movements like BIM-MASSOB, led by Uwazuruike and other pro Biafran groups, that have given the world a blueprint for non-violent resistance in Africa?

Every time the international community ignores peaceful calls from oppressed peoples, it tells the world: “Violence gets attention. Peace gets ignored.”

And that is not just shameful, it is deadly. If global institutions truly stand for justice, now is the time to show it. Not with words, but with action.

Why is Africa only a priority after a tragedy? Why does Biafra’s peaceful plea not deserve the same urgency as other conflicts? Why is the world waiting for blood before it cares?

Until these questions are answered, the hypocrisy of global peace conventions will remain exposed. And Biafrans, led by Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, will continue to raise their voices peacefully, proudly, and unafraid.

Because history will not judge the world’s words. It will judge their silence.

A Surgeon in Rome Just Operated on a Patient in Beijing.
Let that sink in. Over 8,000 km apart, connected by 5G and fibre-optic lines, a Chinese surgeon remotely performed a full robotic prostate surgery — live from a medical conference in Rome, while the patient lay in an operating theatre in Beijing.

It’s the first transcontinental telesurgery in history.
Latency? Just 135 milliseconds.
Outcome? A complete success.

This isn’t science fiction. It’s the future of medicine happening right now. Imagine what this could mean for people in remote areas, war zones or underserved regions.

Biafra Government Honours Achalla Shrine Festival, Reaffirms Respect for Culture and Traditions

By Ataiwo, Umerum – Reporting from Achalla, Awka State
Wednesday, July 9, 2025

In a grand show of solidarity with indigenous traditions, the Biafra Internal Government, on Wednesday, honored the 2025 edition of the revered Ínyigo Shrine Festival held in Odawa Village, Achalla Isu, Awka North Region of Anambra Central State.

The presence of top government officials, including the Biafra Minister of Information, Comrade Ijeomah Anthony, and several state commanders, drew wide applause from the people, signaling the government's commitment to upholding traditional heritage and promoting religious tolerance across Biafra land.

The host and Chief Priest of the Inyigo Shrine, Igwe Patrick Nwankwo (Obalagidi V), also known as Agwoo Biafra Uwa Nile, warmly received the dignitaries and expressed joy at the overwhelming turnout. The shrine festival, which began on July 7 and culminated on July 9, was marked with cultural dances, masquerade displays, and ancestral rites that showcased the deep-rooted customs of the Achalla people.

Comrade Ijeomah Anthony, while addressing attendees at the Odawa Village Square, made it clear that the Biafra Internal Government recognizes all traditional and religious practices within Biafra territory. He stated:

“Our presence here today is a clear message to our people that in Biafra, no religion is above the other. Our government recognizes, respects, and protects the diverse cultural and spiritual identities of our people. This is the new Biafra we are building—rooted in justice, respect, and unity.”

In his entourage was His Majesty, Ide Adili-Ajama Ignatius N., the Eze Aka Ji Offor of Ikem Ivite Kingdom and Commander of Delta North State, whose royal presence brought additional prestige to the event.

Also in attendance were Commander Lawrence Nwafor (a.k.a Son of Man), the Owerri State Commander and a native son of Achalla; Justice Damion Nzekwe(regional admin, Ayamelum region), Mentus Ngwoke and John Paul Asuquo, representing the National Biafra Media Team; Justice Alor Onuorah, Egwu Chukwu, and many other key figures from Dunukofia Region.

The festival was not only a celebration of tradition but also an affirmation of community unity. Members of the “Serve Yourself Club,” of which Chief Patrick Nwankwo is a member, were visibly active in the merriment, underscoring the social harmony embedded in the celebration.

The massive turnout of both locals and guests highlighted the importance of the Ínyigo Shrine Festival in the cultural calendar of Achalla. Residents from Odawa and neighboring communities came out in their numbers, singing, dancing, and participating in ancestral rituals that trace their origins back centuries.

With the successful hosting of this year's festival and the endorsement of the Biafra Government, Chief Nwankwo reiterated his commitment to sustaining the shrine and preserving the customs of the Achalla people.

“We thank the Biafra Government for honoring us,” he said. “This is not just support for our community, but a recognition that our traditions are part of the future we are building together.”

As the drums fade and the village returns to normal, the message remains loud and clear:
In Biafra, tradition is not forgotten. It is honored. It is respected. And it is protected.

Eye Witness Account Of The Ogboji Shooting That Led To 10 Ebonyi Indigenes Being K*lled

Ebonyi state indigene Nwoba Chika Nwoba shares an insight into what transpired which led to the k*lling of not less than 10 indigenes of Ebonyi state in Ogboji. Orumba South local government area of Anambra state. This corroborates with what the man in this video told the police. The man in the video is the treasurer of the association and survived the attack.

“Our people in Ogboji said that two Ebonyi brothers were having issues and one reported the other to the Ebonyi community in Ogboji. The meeting extended to Monday. The other one who refused attending the meeting then gave false information to unknown gunmen who arrived the venue of the meeting and asked for the chairman of the meeting. Nobody accepted to point at the chairman. The gunmen then opened fire at the members of the forum and got 11 persons down. The chairman survived the attack and has spoken from hospital.

The guy who brought unknown gunmen into the matter is currently in the net of SWAT in Awkuzu and volunteering information as regards what happened. This is the report coming from some of the Ebonyi people in Ogboji.

Like I said earlier, Ogboji has seen it all in the hands of unknown gunmen for some years now. The leader of Gov. Soludo's Agunaechemba security outfit in Orumba South LGA of Anambra State is from Ebonyi State. His nickname is Akpantu ㅡ a bag of nails.

Don't pass wrong pieces of information to people to cause frayed nerves. The matter isn't a case of Ndi Anambra attacking Ebonyi people in Anambra State. It's far from it. You see Umunze, Aguluezechukwu and Ogboji, Owerre Ezukala and Ogbunka with a spur to Ihite, all within Orumba South and only Aguluezechukwu in Aguata, they've seen it all for two years now, moreover Umunze and Ogboji.

Let's be guided. I can't support any attack on Ebonyi people, and I will not be in cahoots with those trying to incite Ebonyi people against Ndi Anambra”.

What Is an Existential Threat? Why Biafrans Face It Every Day

Have you ever felt like simply being who you are is a threat to your very survival?

That is the meaning of an existential threat.

It is not just a concept found in textbooks. It is not limited to politics or theory. It is real. It is about life or death. It is what happens when a people’s identity, language, culture, land, and future are deliberately targeted, suppressed, or erased.

Biafrans understand this too well. In today’s Nigeria, Biafrans live under constant existential threat. We face it not as an occasional incident, but as a daily reality — a slow, silent, and systematic dismantling of our existence.

When peaceful Biafran villages are attacked by armed herdsmen and nothing is done — that is an existential threat.

When soldiers raid homes across Biafraland without accountability — that is an existential threat.

When a people are excluded from key national appointments, denied basic infrastructure, and left out of development plans — that is an existential threat.

When individuals are arrested for waving a flag, carrying a pamphlet, or simply expressing their right to self-determination — that is not democracy. That is a deliberate attempt to erase a people.

This is not war — but it is a silent war, a war on identity, dignity, and the future of a people. And in many ways, that is even more dangerous than open conflict.

We Are Not Asking for Pity — We Are Demanding Recognition

The Biafran people are not asking the world to feel sorry for us. We are not victims begging for attention. We are a nation standing tall, saying: See us. Hear us. Acknowledge our truth. Stop pretending we do not matter.

Because when your children vanish without justice... when your youth are hunted and jailed for their beliefs… when your mothers wail for sons they may never see again… that is not freedom. That is survival in the face of annihilation.

One Man's Courage Changed Everything
The story of modern Biafra cannot be told without honoring the unwavering leadership of Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike, the father of the new Biafra. At a time when many would have chosen the path of violence, he chose peace. When provoked, he turned to the law. When oppressed, he responded with non-violence.

His decision was not weakness — it was strength with wisdom. Because of that courage, Biafrans today have a functioning government, peacefully established on December 30, 2019, in line with the Montevideo Convention of 1933 — a recognized international treaty that outlines the criteria for statehood. Nigeria, fully aware of this convention and the non-violent nature of our struggle, has no legal grounds to oppose it.

Generations of Biafrans — both living and those yet unborn — will remain indebted to Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike. His leadership turned an existential threat into a platform for hope and lawful resistance.

We respectfully call upon the United Nations, the European Union, the United States, the African Union, and all defenders of human rights and international justice:

Do not ignore what is happening in Biafraland. Do not turn away from the silent erasure of a people.
If justice matters in Ukraine, if human rights matter in Gaza, then the same standard must apply to Biafra.

Biafrans — and many other ethnic nations — are facing cultural, political, and physical extinction. To protect these indigenous nations is to protect humanity itself.

Existential threats are not always loud. They often come quietly, dressed in the silence of global indifference. But today, we raise our voice — not in violence, but in truth.

If the world truly stands for justice, human dignity, and freedom of nations, then let it begin by acknowledging this fact:
Biafrans are under existential threat. And the time to act — is now.

BIAFRA'S PEACEFUL WARRIOR: THE LEGACY OF RALPH UWAZURUIKE

There are men who shout for war. There are men who gather weapons.
And then... there are men like Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike — who, in the middle of a storm, chose silence over violence, dialogue over bloodshed, and peace over war.

When Biafrans were being hunted like animals… When homes were being burnt, and hope was running dry… When everyone thought, “We need to fight back — with bullets, with guns, with force".

One man walked a different path.
He said, “No. We will not pick up arms again. Because even if we do, the world will still drag us back to peace — after we have buried our children.”

And just like that, a revolution was born — without blood.

Chief Ralph Uwazuruike didn’t come with a military plan. He came with a movement of minds, of hearts, of people ready to be free without killing anyone to get there.

He founded MASSOB (Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra) on 13th September 1999 with one bold mission: To build a new Biafra through non-violent, civil resistance.

In a world that mocks peace as weakness, Uwazuruike made it the weapon.

Where others raised fists, he raised flags. Where others carried guns, he carried the law.
Where others chose the jungle, he chose the courtroom, the street, the microphone.

But don’t be deceived — this path was not easy.

He was arrested. Tortured. Mocked. Even by his own people, he was called a coward and a betrayer.

Some said he should "do it the Ojukwu way again" — return to war, to fire, to sacrifice.

But Chief Uwazuruike had seen it all. He had lived through the 1967–70 genocide. He knew what war had taken from us: 3 million dead. Mothers, fathers, babies — gone. He had walked in the shadow of that pain.

And so he said, “Never again. Not on my watch.”

In 2020, when Biafra was admitted into the UNPO (Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization) as its 46th member, Chief Uwazurike stood tall before the world.

He declared,

“Even if the world gives us arms, Biafra will never go to war again — because at the end, you’ll still call us to the table.”

The world clapped. But in Nigeria, the silence was loud.

The same international community that praises Mandela, Gandhi, and Martin Luther King Jr., pretends not to see Uwazuruike.

Why?

Because he is African. And Africa is expected to fight for its freedom with fire — not faith.

Today, most of the pro-Biafran groups that once believed in violence are slowly returning to the principles of non-violence — the very path Chief Uwazurike laid down years ago.

He didn’t just lead a movement. He is fathering a sovereign nation-in-waiting — the Biafra Internal Government.

He showed us that liberation doesn’t always come from the barrel of a gun — sometimes, it comes from the power of conviction.

He is not perfect. But he is principled.
And in a land where peace is mocked, he stood firm and said, “We will not kill to be free. We will walk to our freedom — peacefully.”

In this July Post Series, we raise our voices to say: Happy Survival Month from existential threats — to Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike, to the people of Biafra, and to all who have stood firm in the face of existential threats, still waiting for the international community and all people of conscience to respond.

In this month of July, we explore a story not just of survival — but of strategy from existential threats.

We reflect on how one man — Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike — stood in the face of annihilation and chose a path so powerful, Nigeria couldn’t stop him.

He formed a government inside Nigeria, a Biafran Government, without a single bullet fired.

He built structures, not bunkers. He inspired minds, not militias.

They waited and hoped he would abandon peace — that he would fall into the trap of violence so they could crush him. But he was wiser than them.

He knew that the most dangerous revolution is the one that cannot be killed — because it does not kill.

One Day, The World Will Look Back...
And when they do, they will not just see another African man. They will see a global example of peaceful resistance. They will see a man who was right — even when everyone else wanted him to be wrong.

They will say: “Here was a man who had every reason to fight — but chose peace instead.” And we, his people, will say:

“Thank you, Chief Dr. Ralph Uwazurike, Okenwa Ndigbo. You gave us a path without graves.” Let us celebrate peace. Let us protect it. Because if war could save us, we’d have been free long ago.

BIM-MASSOB takes the lead — non-violence is the way. Let July be our month of peaceful resistance, survival, and pride from existentialthreats.

Ebenezerdegreat Rises: A New Supreme Court Judge Ushers Hope for Justice in Biafra

Owerri, Biafra — June 30, 2025

In what has been described as a divinely ordained moment in the evolution of Biafra’s judicial architecture, Hon. Justice Ebenezerdegreat Obinna has been officially elevated to the prestigious position of Supreme Court Judge of the Biafra Internal Government. This historic appointment affirms not only his steadfast commitment to justice but also underscores the deep trust reposed in him by the highest levels of Biafra’s legal and political leadership.

The decision was made during the National Executive Council Judicial Session held on April 23, 2025, at the Biafra Seat of Power, Owerri. The session was presided over by Her Excellency, Elder Virginia Ubazuonu, the sixth Prime Minister of Biafra, and received the final confirmation and divine endorsement from Chief Dr. Mrs. Justice Ugwuoke Augustina, the Chief Justice of Biafra.

Hon. Justice Ebenezerdegreat’s journey has been a shining example of leadership, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the cause of justice for Biafrans. From his earlier appointment as National Appeal Court Judge in the aftermath of the internationally acknowledged December 30, 2024 Biafra General Elections, he quickly rose through the judicial ranks, gaining national and regional acclaim for his rulings rooted in fairness, equity, and moral conviction.

As the Chief Executive Regional Governor of OGUBOLO Region (Rivers East State), encompassing OGU – Area 1, BOLO – Area 2, and UZII – Area 3, Hon. Justice Ebenezerdegreat balanced judicial wisdom with effective grassroots governance, bringing stability and development to the region.

Now, with his ascension to the Supreme Court Bench and appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Justice, he stands as a guardian of Biafra’s legal future — a voice of the voiceless and a steward of truth in the halls of justice.

During his swearing-in ceremony, Hon. Justice Ebenezerdegreat made a solemn pledge:
“To serve Biafrans in love, truth, sincerity, and honesty. To uphold every instruction and assignment given for the unity, peace, joy, and development of our nation and her citizens. So help me God.”

This declaration, anchored in the divine grace of GOD JEHOVAH EBENEZER, reflects his personal philosophy and commitment to the Non-Violence, Non-Exodus ideology championed by Chief Barr. Dr. Ralph Uwazuruike, the Father of the New Biafra Nation.

Hon. Justice Ebenezerdegreat has long been a leading figure within BIM–MASSOB as a reformist voice, championing judicial independence and social justice for millions of Biafrans worldwide. His wife, Chief Lolo Justice Ebenezerdegreat Obinna, serves as a Parliamentarian in the 6th Biafra Parliament — a testament to the couple’s shared legacy in nation-building and democratic growth.

Justice Ebenezerdegreat is also deeply engaged in national development, offering support for institutions such as Homeland University, and initiatives like the Eastern Unity Cup, a youth-driven sporting event that promotes peace, unity, and nationhood through sports.

As Biafra continues its peaceful journey toward recognized sovereignty, Justice Ebenezerdegreat echoed the collective appeal of the 6th administration:

“We urge the United Nations and world leaders — including U.S. President Donald Trump — to acknowledge the sovereignty of Biafra and intervene against the systemic oppression and marginalization facing our people.”

With his motto firmly rooted in “Liberty, Justice, and Peace,” Justice Ebenezerdegreat’s elevation represents not only a personal milestone but also a symbol of national renewal.

According to Comrade Ijeomah Anthony, Minister of Information:

“Hon. Justice Ebenezerdegreat embodies the very soul of a free and just Biafra. His rise to the Supreme Court Bench is a sign to every Biafran that integrity, service, and faith will always be rewarded. He is not only a judge — he is a nation-builder.”

As Biafra continues its noble journey guided by diplomacy, legality, and divine purpose, the appointment of Justice Ebenezerdegreat to the Supreme Court stands as a landmark moment — a new dawn for justice, peace, and progress.

Biafra — Blessed, Strong, and Free.
