When I came to Nigeria, I didn’t know anyone. I had a little money. I thought the money would open doors. I thought if I had cash, people would help me. But instead, they used me. Because that’s what happens when you lead with money and not wisdom.
In America, I used to dream about doing films. I was even writing a script. So when I landed in Nigeria, I said, let me produce it myself. But it failed badly. I got duped. I lost so much.
But that failure gave birth to who I am today. Those tough moments were the seeds of my success. They taught me. They shaped me. The pain I felt then is the strength I carry now.
