OLOJA EKUN OF IGBESA LAND KICKS AGAINST NATIONAL PROTEST, ADVICE YOUTH TO DISENGAGE

The Oloja Ekun of Igbesaland, HRM Oba Abdul-Azeez O. Akinde.FCA, has implore the youth to extricate from joining the intended national protest that is set to hold on Aug 1 ,2024.

HRM Oba Abdul-Azeez Akinde issued this warning in an official statement released by his secretary when he said the current situation of the country may be frustrating but youths must not be tempted to join.

" I know that many of the youths may be feeling frustrated, angry, or passionate about the current state of affairs in our dear country, Nigeria . I understand that it can be tempting to join protests or demonstrations to express your feelings and demand change" .

kabiyesi has however urged the youth to exercise caution and consider the potential risks and consequences of joining such protests saying it’ll be displeasing if anything happen to anyone in the course

According to him Instead of protesting, Kabiyesi encourages the youths to explore alternative ways to make their voices heard and bring about positive change as he said they should consider volunteering, engaging in community service, or participating in peaceful advocacy campaigns.

He admonishes that the future of the youth is bright, and their contributions can help shape a better Nigeria, most especially, Igbesa Kingdom.
