Today, we joyfully celebrate Apostle Joshua Selman, our gift from God and a chosen vessel for our generation. Thank you for being a Father indeed and a shepherd to God’s flock. Your dedication to Kingdom advancement and your selfless service to the body of Christ have touched our lives in profound ways and we are deeply blessed to have you.

Your legacy of faithfulness is a testament to the transformative power of saying "Yes" to Jesus, and we are eternally grateful for the impact you’ve made on our lives. You are living proof that when a man stays with God, there is no limit to which God can go with that man. Your life is a living sermon, reflecting the grace and love of Christ in every word and action. By your example, we have learned the true meaning of humility, sacrifice, and faith. You have shown us that true leadership is servanthood and through your humble service, you have ignited a hunger for God in the hearts of many, rightly dividing the word of truth, and drawing men closer to God.

As we honour you on this special day, we pray that The Lord continues to rain His blessings upon you abundantly. May His divine protection and favour be upon you always. May your life continually reveal and glorify Jesus Christ.

We will give ourselves continually to the Word and Prayer.

It was our Lord who said men ought always to pray and not to faint (Luke 18:1). One of the benefits of waiting on God is the privilege of receiving divine enablement to walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Jehovah insists that His house shall be a house of prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7, Mark 11:17). Without prayer, a whole generation faints (is cut off from the bountiful supply of the Spirit of grace for effective witness to the resurrection of Jesus).

It is therefore surely time the church of the Lord Jesus Christ embraced THE LIFE OF PRAYER!

With grateful hearts, we stand in awe of God's faithfulness as we celebrate 13 glorious years of Koinonia. It is with profound reverence that we acknowledge the presence of Jesus among us, working wonders, and the continual outpouring of the Holy Spirit, gracing us with His divine presence.

For 13 years, God's favour has been our constant companion, His mercy our sustaining force. In this journey, we have witnessed His promises unfold, His Word manifesting powerfully through the teachings imparted by our esteemed Father and mentor, Apostle Joshua Selman.

As we reflect on the profound impact Koinonia has had on the body of Christ, individuals, communities, and nations; the countless miracles, signs, wonders, transformations, salvations, healings, and testimonies that have marked our path, we are reminded of the immeasurable goodness of God over us as a global family. With each passing year, His faithfulness only deepens our reverence and gratitude.

Thank you, Jesus, for 13 years of unyielding faithfulness to Koinonia and its global family. You are the cornerstone of this house, our ever guiding light, and our unwavering strength. We celebrate with joy and thanksgiving a journey marked by intimacy, purposeful partnership, and enriching fellowship with God.

Truly, He has been our Ebenezer, our rock of help, and for this, we exclaim, HALLELUJAH! Happy 13th Anniversary, Koinonia Global!

DO THE THINGS YOU TELL OTHERS TO DO IN 2024

A woman walks with her son many miles to see Gandhi. She is worried her son is eating too much sugar. She asks Gandhi: 'Please, sir, can you tell my son to stop eating sugar?'

Gandhi says, 'Bring him back in two weeks.' Disappointed, she takes her son home.

Two weeks later she makes the long journey again. Gandhi says to the boy, 'You must stop eating sugar. It’s very bad for you.' The boy has such respect for Gandhi that he stops and lives a healthy life.

The woman is confused and asks, 'Why did you want me to wait two weeks to bring back my son?'

Gandhi said, 'Because before I could tell your son to stop eating sugar, I had to stop eating sugar first.'

One of the problems of humankind is giving advice and counsel about things that haven't yet formed life in them.

I know the place of speaking by utterance. I also know the place of speaking from Life. With utterance, we get people blessed, and we never become that blessing.

Every time people sit with you, they receive counsel, but you seem confused about little areas of your life.

I know the path of having a covering over your head, the path where your covering becomes God's mouthpiece to you. This is very fine, but you are missing the whole thing.

Most things your covering tells you to do, check it; he's a practitioner of it. It is now a life!

We will continue to be deliverers, but yet our lives are never like deliverance because 'we don't do the things we tell people to do.'

The same you that told someone to read three books on finance never finishes just one book.

You fix men on a prayer marathon but never have you tarried long. You tell men to give sacrificially, but you've never given your little.

The list goes on. If we must rise, then we should operate from Life. You can remove specks from people's eyes even with a log in yours.

Have you helped people by the break out from addiction and you're still in the pool of it?. People stopped by your words but you have never stopped.

If we truly must do well, then we should be our first audience; we should be first practitioners.

Your life will be better if you do what you tell others to do.
