It's that time of the year for Committee for Relevant Art -Lagos book and Art Festival (coralabaf 2024)
A yearly Art festival that brings together Captains and Generals from various works of life using art as a tool for social engineering.
Cora-Labaf is indeed the biggest Art Festival not only in Nigeria but also in Africa. This yearly festival honours great man of exceptional values; hosting both the elderly, young and gifted.
During this one week festival, there will be various Art exhibitions varing from visual art and performing art, intellectual discussions, book reviews etc. No wonder friends from neighbouring West African countries like Sierra Leone, Liberia and far east Ethiopia and Tanzania troop in to grace this special occasion.
I must congratulate CORA for keeping the dreams alive. People like Jahman Anikulapo, Uncle Ben Tomoloju, Tunde Olanipekun and every member of Cora. It is usually a colourful event with house hold names like Uncle Tunde Kilani, Femi-Falana, Wole Soyinka and Bruce Onobrakpeya. At age 92 Great-grandpa Bruce Onobrakpeya who is a painter and sculptor; still hold a yearly workshop at Agbor Delta State.
This year's edition is going to be awesome, don't miss it for anything.
