Iman Shumpert feels like he shouldn't have to pay child support because his estranged wife, Teyana Taylor, makes much more than he does. TM reports that Iman is asking for the payments of daughters Junie and Rue Rose, be re-evaluated as court documents reveal that Teyana makes $93,885 to Iman’s $47,981 monthly before taxes.

Iman is only paying roughly $8,000 a month in expenses, and says that he’ll continue health insurance payments for “major” medical expenses as long as all other health care costs for the kids are split down the middle.

Firstly, $47k a month is such a blessing. I hope to be there one day, secondly, this is a tricky situation for me. Now I know how sometimes you gworls and girls like to tussle in the comments and I hate to say it and I hope I don't sound ridiculous, but I never understood child support for men who have joint custody or actually help with their kids. Child support is supposed (to my thought, correct me if I'm wrong) to be for men who simply REFUSE TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR KIDS AND DON'T ACKNOWLEDGE THEM AT ALL. However as the mother is usually still always responsible for the kids (so I'm told) that shouldn't matter and the father still needs to pay no?
