"Childbirth to be free in Burkina Faso! Women should not be charged for bringing life into the world" - Ibrahim Traore

The military leader of Burkina Faso has asked some daring questions in relation to childbirth and people are in support of it

"Why should women be charged to bring life into the world?" he asked.

"I was born of a woman and can never watch to see women get charged so high to bring lives into the world.

My poor mother almost lost me due to such charges, if not for God i won't alive to be a president today.

I decree today that childbirth for any pregnant woman who walks into any government hospital in Burkina Faso must be free!," he stated.

The antelope was running with all his energy, as though he was running from a wild fire. He bumped into the elephant at the stream. The elephant asked him:
"Antelope, why are you running like this?"
He replied:
"The police is arresting all the goats in the village."
The elephant retorted:
"But you are not a goat! Why must you run?"
The antelope replied:
"With our current justice system, it will take me 20 years to prove that I am not a goat."

Salome Adaidu: Police arraign gospel singer Timilehin Ajayi for m¥rder

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arraigned gospel singer, Timilehin Ajayi in court for murder of Salome Adaidu.

Ajayi dismembered Salome, who he claimed to be his girlfriend, when she visited him at his house in the Papalana axis at New Karshi in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The 32-year-old suspect arrived at the Nasarawa State High Court in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital on Friday, January 17. 2025.

He was arraigned on one count charge of Culpable Homicide punishable with Death, contrary to section 221 of the Penal Code Law of Northern Nigeria.

The court ordered that the suspect be remanded in a correctional facility, Lafia pending formal arraignment on a date to be assigned.

Prior to her gruesome murder, the 24-year-old victim was a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), serving at Nicon Insurance in Abuja.

Ajayi was nabbed on Sunday, January 12, while trying to dispose of the head of Salome after killing her and dismembering her body parts.
