KUNET-BARAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION SOLICIT FOR THE RELEASE OF VIVIAN MATUR FROM DETENTION AND POLICE CUSTODY. APPRECIATES SPEAKER DEWAN FOR TAKING LAWFUL STEPS IN RESOLVING THE MATTER.
We, the leadership of Kunet-Barah Community Development Association, the traditional Council, and the people of Kunet-Barah and Butura Nation, are writing to plead with you, Rt. Hon. Dewan Kudangbena Gabriel, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, to exercise patience and forgiveness towards Vivian Bwehmana Matur.
Vivian's unpleasant communication with your supposed person on social media platforms has gone viral and led to her arrest. We understand the gravity of her actions and acknowledge that she may have acted out of ignorance. We are concerned about the consequences of her actions and kindly request that you consider releasing her.
We know you to be a humble, friendly, and peaceful leader who has demonstrated your love for the people of Plateau State, including the Butura Nation. Your benevolence towards our community cannot be forgotten. We pledge that if you consider our plea and release Vivian, we will call her to order and ensure that she does not repeat such careless statements.
We tried to caution Vivian before the situation escalated, but unfortunately, her arrest was made before we could reach you. We are now pleading for mercy and forgiveness on her behalf. We believe that your kindness and forgiveness will go a long way in promoting peace and harmony in our community.
Thank you for considering our plea. We look forward to your positive response and the subsequent release of Vivian Bwehmana Matur. Please accept our sincere appreciation for your time and consideration.
