My heart is overflowing with joy 🤩🥳🥳🥳. I can’t even find the right words to describe how I feel right now. Truly, dreams do come true.
I’m so excited to officially announce that I have been Called to Bar as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
This isn’t just a title for me—it is the physical evidence of God’s mercy, faithfulness, and grace over my life.
This journey started 9 years ago, in 2016, when I was admitted to study Law at the University of Lagos. I remember stepping into that campus full of dreams, unaware of the challenges and sacrifices that lay ahead.
Looking back now, the road has not been rosy. There were seasons of deep tears—tears shed alone in my room when no one could see me. There were moments I felt like giving up— discouragement, financial hardship, academic pressure, emotional exhaustion.
I vividly remember the year I started real estate in 2020. I was determined not to give up on my dreams no matter how tough things got.
There were days I moved straight from lecture halls to apartment viewings with clients, switching roles between student and hustler like my life depended on it because honestly, it did.
Some weekends, while others were resting, I was on-site, standing under the hot sun trying to close deals. Other times, I was buried in the library, pushing through assignments, exams, and deadlines, while still responding to clients and keeping my small business afloat.
It was far from rosy. There were days I broke down. There were days I questioned myself, questioned the journey, and wondered if it was ever going to be worth it.
The pain was real.
The sleepless nights were real.
The pressure was real.
But through it all, God held me by the hand. He never let go. Even when I was weak, He remained strong for me.
I held on to faith, to determination, to resilience, and above all, to the belief that God never starts what He doesn’t intend to finish.
And today—here I am. I survived. I thrived. And I became.
I dedicate this victory first to God Almighty, who is the source of everything good in my life.
I also dedicate it to my parents, especially my mom of blessed memory—I know you’re proud of me, Maami. Your girl did it! Everything you taught me, everything you prayed for—I carried it in my heart all through this journey.
To everyone who encouraged me, who believed in me even when I was too tired to believe in myself, I’m grateful.
To my mentors: Bro Adeniyi Olaogun, Mr. & Mrs. Ademusere, Bro Norton Adeyemi, and countless others—I’m thankful for every word of wisdom, every push, every door you helped open.
This is more than just a Call to Bar—it’s the start of a new chapter filled with purpose, impact, and service. I step into this next phase with gratitude, confidence, and readiness to serve.
