They try to smile.

They have two families now,

Someone can be a nice person but not a good person.

A nice person is a people pleaser but in the secret, h/she is the devil's incarnate.

A nice person can hang around you because of the benefits derived but if given the opportunity to betray you, h/she will betray you.

When choosing a partner, conceive the fact that a nice person is not always a good person. When you understand this, you won't be so excited about nice gestures, you won't be excited about interesting writeups the person pens down, you will be more concern about practicing what they preach.
