The WTA Finals is the last tournament on the WTA Tour calendar. It is the season ending tournament.
It features the top eight singles players and doubles team based on their ranking at the end of the season.
The 8 players playing the singles are:
1. Aryna Sabalenka
2. Iga Swiatek
3. Coco Gauff
4. Elena Rybakina
5. Jessica Pegula
6. Ons Jabeur
7. Marketa Vondrousova
8. Maria Sakkari
They are grouped into two groups and will play a round robin format at the group stage.
The top two players in each group will advance to the semi final and the tournament reverts to a single-game elimination format.
