This celebration is not merely a personal milestone for our family but a testament to the enduring blessings, resilience, and unwavering faith that have sustained our matriarch over the decades. My mother’s life remains an inspiring symbol of courage, compassion, and dedication to God and humanity, and I am deeply honored to celebrate her in good health and sound mind.

In a remark at his country home yesterday. Hon. Prince TM the Central leader specially exult QUEEN AGNES SALAMATU UGBODAGA his mother with heartfelt prayers, asking God Almighty to continue to strengthen her in body and spirit, and to crown her remaining years with peace and fulfillment. He also extend his fervent prayers to everyone who physically graced the occasion and to all who sent their goodwill messages from near and far, saying that the Almighty will grant you the priceless gift of long life and abiding joy as He has done for my mother.

He concluded saying. On behalf of my entire family, I express my sincere appreciation for the outpouring of love and solidarity shown to us today. May this celebration rekindle the bonds of unity within our community and remind us all that a life of purpose, faith, and goodwill will always attract divine favor.

GAS LEAKAGE INCIDENT IN FUGAR COMMUNITY. A CALL FOR NGC PROMPT RAPID RESPONSE

The Fugar community in Etsako Central was struck by a gas leakage incident late this evening, with reports indicating that a pipeline passing through the area near the General Abdulsalam Abubakar General Hospital opposite the High Court in Fugar has been affected.

Hon. Solomon Obomighie FECRMI, the Executive Chairman of the Local Government Area, in his proactive nature to safe guiding residents of Fugar, has taken swift action to address the situation, notifying the relevant agencies.

In response to the emergency, The traditional rulers in Fugar clan, the Department of State Services (DSS), the work's department of Etsako Central council, the Nigeria Police, and local vigilantes have been mobilized to assist in managing the situation. Their collective efforts are aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of residents in the affected area and mitigating any potential risks associated with the gas leakage.

The Executive Chairman calls on residents living in that area to avoid using cell phones and electronic gadgets, emphasizing that pedestrians should use alternative roots to avoid fire outbreaks

The collaborative efforts of all stakeholders involved are instrumental in ensuring the well-being and safety of residents in the vicinity of the gas leakage. Regular evaluations and monitoring of the situation are being conducted to proactively manage any potential hazards and safeguard the community.

*Oyemike Congratulates Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole, Gani Audu, and other newly appointed Edo State officials*

In an unprecedented turn of events, the political landscape of Ward 6 in Ugbakpe Ekperi Etasko Central LGA witnessed a significant shift as 103 party faithful and prominent stakeholders formally announced their departure from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in ugbakpe Ward 6 Etasko Central LGA.

The atmosphere in Ward 6 was nothing short of a jubilant celebration as a multitude of supporters gathered yesterday to witness the momentous occasion. Among those who made the decision to switch party allegiance were *BRAIMHA ABDUL RAMAN, the APC Ward Six Youth Leader, BRAIMHA ZURIETU IZOYA, the APC Ward Six women Leader, and 103 members*

*FUGAR GETS FIRST CLAN HEAD, HRM OGAH RECEIVES APPOINTMENT LETTER*

Today, HRM (Engr) Emmanuel Ayekhele Ogah, formerly known as the Okphe Ukpi of Ivhinone, received a significant letter at the Local Government Area office from the Executive Chairman of Etsako Central LGA, Hon. Solomon Obomighie. The letter, issued under the authority of the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, officially pronounces HRM (Engr) Emmanuel Ayekhele Ogah as the Okugbe of Fugar Clan.

This prestigious pronouncement was witnessed by esteemed traditional rulers, including HRH (Alhaji) D Y E Kanoba, the Eghiegba of Ekperi, and HRM (Alhaji) Jackson Etokhana, the Oghie Avhianwu of Avhianwu.

HRH (Alhaji) D Y E kanoba, the Eghiegba of Ekperi kingdom admonish all and asundry at presentation of the official letter at the LGA, saying that, it is with gladness we the elders in council at the LGA welcome a friend and a jolly good fellow to the traditional circle, adding that, if you don't welcome good news you're a specimen of bad thought, as such the creation of another clan in Etsako Central LGA is a plus and a welcome idea to the betterment of the royal folks ard the community at large.

PRESENT DRAFT ESTIMATED BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 2024 TO THE LEGISLATIVE ARM OF ETSAKO CENTRAL LGA*

February 13. 2024.

Today, the 13th day of February 2024, Hon. Solomon Obomighie, the Executive Chairman of Etsako Central Local Government Area, presented the draft estimated budget for the year 2024 to the Legislative Arm of the council led by Hon. Cyphas Mohamed the leader of the Legislative arm at the LGA. In his presentation, Hon. Solomon Obomighie, the Executive Chairman, emphasized that this year's budget is "*TAGGED BUDGET FOR RESTORATION OF BETTER LIFE"* focused on the welfare and development of the entire community to make up Etsako Central LGA.

The budget allocation is directed towards key areas that are of critical importance to the community, including the following sectors:

*1. Economy sector* #527.600.000.00 representing 61.33% of the 2024 capital budget estimate. This sector is further broken into sub sectors as follows:

*2. Agriculture and Natural Resources sector* #28,100,000.00 representing 3.27% of the capital budget estimate provision.

*3. Finance and Supply (Treasury)* #18,500,000.00 representing 3.27% of the capital budget estimate provision.

*4. Budget, Planning, Research, and Statistics* N120,
000,000.00 representing 13.95% of the capital budget estimate provision.

*5. Revenue N14,500,000.00* representing 1.69% of the capital budget estimate provision.

*6. Works and Housing N333,000,000.00* representing 38.71% of the capital budget estimate provision.

The social sector also was broken into sub sectors among are:
*1. Youths, women and social development* N107,500,000.00 representing 12.50% of the capital budget estimate provision.

*Health care sector* N28,000,000.00, representing 3.02% of the capital budget estimate provision.

*Economic sector* N42,000,000.00 representing 4.88% of the capital budget estimate provision.

*Wash* #18,400,000.00 representing 2.14% of the capital budget estimate provision.

*Law and justice sector* was allocated the sum of #1,500,000.00, representing 0.17% of the capital budget estimate provision.

The administrative sector was also broken into sub sector's, which includes:

*1 Central Administration sector* also was considered with #137,200,000.00 representing 15.95% of the capital budget estimate provision, this sector will be entrust with responsibility of maintaining council secreteriat amenities, purchasing of office equipment among many.

The Chairman highlighted that the budget has been carefully structured to address the needs of the communities, promote economic growth, and enhance the overall well-being of the residents of Etsako Central LGA.
