Important information from the management of St. Winifred’s Girls Secondary School, Ihugh
Greetings, Esteemed Parents/Guardians.
take note of the following important information:
1. Our students currently at Queen of the Rosary Secondary School, Gboko will complete their third-term examinations tomorrow, Friday, 17th July 2026, and will proceed on their long vacation on Saturday, 18th July 2026. Kindly confirm their safe arrival at home.
2. Our SSS 2 students completed their Mock SSCE today, 16th July 2026, and will resume regular classroom lessons immediately. This is to enable us make up for the lessons lost during the period of the crisis.
3. Our SSS 3 students are still writing their NECO examinations, while the remaining students are currently taking their third-term examinations. We expect all examinations to be completed by Thursday or Friday of next week.
4. Consequently, all students of our school who are currently writing examinations will proceed on their long vacation by Saturday, 25th July 2026.
5. We kindly appeal to parents and guardians whose children have outstanding school fee balances to make every effort to settle them before the students proceed on vacation. This will greatly support our ongoing efforts to rebuild and restore the school facilities damaged.
6. Please also note that other end-of-session activities, including the graduation ceremony for the graduating class, have been shifted to next term after the official reopening of the school in September 2026.
