THIS PAGE exists because I have spent enough years close to the political life of this country to know something that more people need to say out loud:
We have been paying attention to the wrong things.
We follow the power plays, the alliances, the betrayals, and the maneuvering with the intensity of people watching a championship final. And while we watch the game, the farmers cannot get their produce to market. Our young graduates still wait for an opportunities that never come. Women are delivering their babies in health centres with no drugs, no equipment, and no staff.
These people are not at the centre of our political conversation. They should be. They are the entire point.
Every post on this page will do one thing: connect political decisions to the lives of real people. And hold every leader, regardless of party or tribe, and religion to one standard: are people's lives actually getting better?
