The answer is...

Not necessarily.

The real question is:

What is your child doing during that screen time?

There is a big difference between spending an hour:

❌ Watching random videos endlessly...
and

✅ Solving Mathematics problems

✅ Learning Science

✅ Building games through coding

✅ Reading educational books

Technology is a tool.

And like every tool, its value depends on how it is used.

Instead of asking,

"How many hours?"

Also ask,

"What did my child learn?"

The goal is not to eliminate screens.

The goal is to make screen time meaningful.

Many children are not afraid of Mathematics because it is difficult.

They become afraid because of experiences like:

👉Being laughed at for getting an answer wrong.

👉Being compared with classmates or siblings.

👉Hearing adults say, "Math is too hard."

👉Feeling pressured to get every answer correct.

Over time, children begin to believe that they are "not good at Math."

But here is the good news...

Mathematics is not a necessarily talent, it is a skill that grows with practice, patience, and encouragement.

As parents, you can make a big difference by creating a positive attitude toward Mathematics.

Here are four simple ways to help:
👉Praise your child's effort, not just correct answers.
