HOW TO DEAL WITH LUSTFUL THOUGHTS ||PASTOR DOLAPO LAWAL
Episode 1.
Sometimes you want to do something spiritual, and they whisper, "Are you the one who thinks like this, or you that did this and that? How dare you?"

I have told a story before about someone who was casting out devils during an evangelistic outreach. The devil told him, "I know you. Get away! Are you not the one who used to ma******te?" Thank God he had an understanding that these demons are crazy. He replied, "Even though, come out!" And the demon came out.

That is exactly what the devil does. He tries to demoralize you and destroy your confidence so you cannot use God's authority. It destroys your confidence in prayer, in devotion, and in the manifestation of God's power.

Another thing it does is corrupt your discernment. What should be wrong becomes "not that deep." It distorts your discernment and makes you drop your standards. Once you permit these thoughts, they do not want to stop in your mind; they want agreement in your body. They carry shame, affect your confidence in devotion, and corrupt your discernment so that you are unable to judge rightly.

You will start hearing people make excuses. They will say, "There is no direct place in scripture where ma********on is mentioned, or there is no direct word for p**n." When people start making excuses like that, you know they have conceded to defeat. They permitted the thoughts and engaged with them. Because they tried and saw that they could not win, they now look for ways to find a theology that will pacify their conscience.

What that sin has done is distort their discernment. You have to understand this: if the devil can get you to be comfortable walking in the flesh, he can get you to commit every sin.

The fruit of the Spirit comes from one source: the Spirit. The works of the flesh also come from one source: the flesh. Anyone who has joy and peace has them pertaining to the fruit of the Spirit. Similarly, anyone who walks in lying also has fornication pertaining to the works of the flesh. If you can comfortably lie, you can comfortably fornicate. If you can comfortably fornicate, you can comfortably keep malice. If you can comfortably keep malice, you can comfortably kill.

I know you might say, "No, I cannot murder. That is too much." No, you just have not been in a situation where you were exposed to see your true capacity. Have you ever been in a situation where someone annoyed you so much that in your mind you felt like killing them? The only reason you did not do it is because prison exists. If you were like Cain and Abel and nobody was watching, you know you would have killed that person.

If you read Genesis chapter 4, before Cain killed Abel, it was a process. It started with bitterness and jealousy. God told him, "Sin lies at the door and wants to have you. Do not permit it." He permitted it anyway, until it translated into killing his brother.

I have seen this happen time and time again. I shared a story some years ago about someone who reached out to me very bitter. Someone had done something terrible to her, and she could not handle it. I tried to talk to her, but she was so bitter that she stopped eating.

I have seen the devastating effects of bitterness. Out of anger, she shaved her hair completely bald and started looking tattered and unkempt. The person who hurt her had manipulated the situation to make it look like she had lost her mind, and she did not take it well. Long story short, that girl eventually killed that person in real life. That bitterness did not stop until it translated into murder.

That is why when I preach James chapter 3—which says that if you have bitter envy and strife in your hearts, do not lie against the truth because this wisdom is earthly, sensual, and demonic—I truly understand the meaning. Once you permit one work of the flesh, you can permit them all because they all come from the same source.

If we look at Adam in Genesis, he broke the essence of the entire law with one sin. He bore false witness against what God actually said, and he failed to honor God as his Father. Everything fell apart from a single compromise.

SALT IN A NEW CRUSE (SAYCO 2026) || BRO GBILE AKANNI
Episode 3.

What is the salt that God is bringing in this new cruise that will make a difference? What is it that will work within you to bring about a change and cause the purpose of God to prosper?

When we look at the lives of Daniel and Joseph, they both confessed that their ability was not from themselves. When they brought Joseph and said, "We learn that you know how to interpret dreams," he replied, "No, I don't know anything. It is the Lord. The answer is from God." People recognized this, saying, "Yes, we know the excellent spirit of the gods is inside of you. That is what is working in your life." Even in the Old Testament, when people did not fully know what to call it, they recognized there was a "salt" in their lives, which they termed the spirit of the gods.

As we move into the New Testament and see the work of our deliverance through what Jesus Christ came to do, it becomes clear what God is looking for. Once He has evacuated our old nature, taken away our old sin, and purged us of the old leaven, God says, "Put salt inside."

Second Corinthians 5:21 tells us that God laid all our sins upon Christ—the sinless Christ—and He went to the cross to crucify them there. In exchange for what we used to carry and what we used to be, He poured into us God’s own goodness and very life.

Building on this, let us look at the salt in the new cruise through Second Corinthians 4:6-7: "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us."

There is something being poured into your heart right now, and the Bible describes it as a treasure. God decided to pour this treasure into a new cruise. On the outside, we look ordinary, like everyday jars of clay, but there is a treasure within.

The new cruise was only meant to be a container, a carrier, a vessel. What it carries—what is put inside it—is the most crucial matter. Without the treasure inside, the earthen vessel itself cannot solve any problem. If the salt is not put inside this new cruise, carrying it to the water will bring no solution. The beauty, glory, and all-surpassing power we see belong to the salt, not to the cruise itself. As the New International Version translates verse seven: "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."

God is pouring Christ’s life into you. This life is the all-surpassing power coming from God, made to manifest and flow through us to bring results.

What Daniel accomplished was far beyond anything his colleagues could have imagined. They knew he succeeded because an excellent spirit dwelt within him. If we are going to become the answer that solves the problems of our generation, it cannot be through our own ordinariness or our own efforts. It will depend entirely on who is working within you. The salt in the new cruise that brings forth the work is Christ Himself.

Galatians 2:20 states: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." The Contemporary English Version simplifies this: "I have died, but Christ lives in me."

When we talk about the new cruise, it must be a vessel with salt inside. It must be the new creation man in whom Christ lives His life, bearing Christ within. Christ is the salt in that cruise. He is the life that can confront darkness and the light of the world. This light shining inside us is the Christ God has brought in. The salt in the cruise is nothing else. It is not another philosophy or high intellectualism; it is Christ in you, living, working, and formed within you as your only hope.

Many times, God is waiting for you to react before action occurs. In the midst of God's covenant, you are left alone with your responsibility. Every action you take carries weight. Some trees are fruitful, but the fruit cannot be eaten. Jubilee will walk only when you obey what the Lord says. Everything of God has a rule.

We all want God to do something good for us, but at the same time, we must put in effort to consistently obey His voice. Inviting Jesus into your marriage is the key. Many children of God do not invite Jesus into their homes. How can Jesus stay in a home filled with constant arguments?

The battle against marriage is a fight that many fathers cannot win. The enemy has been fighting from the Garden of Eden. Only through unity and inviting Jesus into your home, allowing Him to give you fresh wine, can the matter be settled. Whatever He tells you to do, do it—whether it's unreasonable, illogical, or foolish. Do it.

The Cost of Becoming Like Christ

To become like Christ, you must embrace the responsibility of obedience and alignment. Transformation requires active engagement, beginning with prayer. There is no special gift of prayer; it simply requires your time. Likewise, there is no spiritual gift that automatically allows you to sit with your Bible and study for hours. True discipleship teaches believers to take responsibility for their growth. Without this foundation, we produce a lazy, entitled people who abuse the grace of God and turn it into an instrument of licentiousness.

1. Walking in Love

The third essential element of discipleship is learning to walk in love—specifically, love for God and love for people, as outlined in Ephesians 5:1–2. If you love God but hate people, you are not a true disciple. The scripture commands us to be followers of God as dear children, and to walk in love as Christ loved us and gave himself for us.

The law of love is a fundamental law for every believer. This love includes discipline and correction; rebuking in love is part of love. It expresses itself through giving, and its highest demonstration is forgiveness. Many believers fail to walk in love, often making careless, unyielding statements.

However, walking in love does not mean being foolish or unwise, nor does it mean allowing evil to prevail around you. The ultimate proof of a disciple is not power or wisdom, but love. Jesus said, "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one for another." It is not demonstrated by speaking in tongues, preaching well, attending Koinonia, or hosting global programs, but by how you love others.

2. Living by the Word

Disciples must also be taught the value of living by the Word of God. No true disciple can mature without developing an unquenchable passion for Scripture. The operational principle of the Kingdom is found in Matthew 4:4: "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

You must love the Word more than your necessary food. True intimacy with Scripture means meditating on it continuously. You can stay on a single verse for days, not merely to prepare a sermon, but to draw deep from its well of wisdom.

A lack of desire for the Word is a spiritual attack that corrupts your potential to become like Christ. Even at age twelve, Jesus was found in the temple studying the scriptures, though He Himself was the Word incarnate. If you find yourself unable to read your Bible, despite owning shelves of Christian literature, recognize that resistance for what it is. Receive the fresh grace right now to break that stagnation and restore your passion for Scripture.

3. Living by Faith

A believer who desires to be like Christ must be mentored on how to live by faith. Life offers no earthly guarantees, which is why Ephesians 6:16 instructs us to take up the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart of the wicked one. Scripture states repeatedly that the just shall live by faith. Believers must learn how to act upon the Word of God, thereby committing Him to perform His promises in their lives. Without faith, victory is impossible, for "this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."

4. Productivity and Economic Emancipation

Finally, discipleship must teach productivity as a key to societal impact and economic emancipation. It is not enough to teach holiness, prayer, and love; believers must also understand the principles of productivity.

Without financial dignity and productivity, people are driven to desperation, theft, or beggary. Homes fracture under financial strain when responsibilities are neglected. A man cannot excuse financial irresponsibility by pointing to his church commitment; serving as an usher does not justify neglecting your household.

The late Dr. Myles Munroe shared a story illustrating this balance. A man was on the verge of ending his marriage because he felt his wife’s constant church attendance caused her to neglect their home. Distressed, the woman informed Dr. Munroe that she could no longer attend services.

To her surprise, Dr. Munroe told her, "Go back home. Your husband is right. Take care of your family."

When she returned home, her husband was surprised to see her and asked why she was not at church. She replied, "My pastor sent me home because my primary responsibility is to take care of you and our home."

This response disarmed the husband. Intrigued by a ministry that prioritized the health of his family, he later attended a service to meet the pastor. Dr. Munroe assured him that the church was pro-family and aimed to transform his wife and children for the betterment of their entire household. Touched by this balanced approach to the Christian life, the husband eventually became a dedicated worker in that very church.

HOW TO DEAL WITH LUSTFUL THOUGHTS ||PASTOR DOLAPO LAWAL
Episode 1.

Lustful thoughts can be both uninvited and invited. They become invited when we open our eye and ear gates to the wrong information, exposing ourselves to explicit or inappropriate content and naively expecting that nothing will happen.

Ultimately, lustful thoughts are either uninvited or invited thoughts that use our desires to create distractions. They often manifest as distorted images, fantasies, or urges that demand your agreement, not just your attention. It begins by capturing your attention, but the ultimate goal is to win your agreement.

These thoughts come through images, memories, imaginations, and desires that refuse to submit to the Spirit. They usually sound like this:
You are already thinking it, so you might as well do it.
You are married, but your spouse is no longer attractive. You deserve this.
God understands my weakness, so maybe this is just something I have to live with for the rest of my life.
Just this one time, or this will be the last time.

Much like a thief who promises himself that the next heist will be his last, people repeat this lie to themselves and never stop.

Why are these thoughts so dangerous?

1. They do not stop in your mind; they search for agreement in your body. Even if you do not want to give in, consistently exposing yourself to the wrong environment or indulging these thoughts creates relentless pressure. It is like kicking a locked door repeatedly; eventually, the door breaks, and the thoughts force their way into actions.

2. They carry shame. Shame causes you to hide from the one person who can help you. The moment you give in, your fellowship with God is distorted. Salvation means God knows us, but fellowship is about us knowing Him. True fellowship requires boldness, which is why scripture instructs us to come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy. When we disobey, we lose that boldness and begin to hesitate. The consequence of sin does not change God; it changes you by eroding your confidence and causing you to hide. Once the enemy traps you in shame, he condemns you and convinces you that you will always be this way.

3. It destroys your confidence in prayer, in devotion, and in the manifestation of God's power.

SEEKING THE FACE OF GOD || DR. AROME OSAYI
Episode 5.

It takes six months of diligent, intentional effort to engage your mind when seeking the face of God. Your mind must travel with the energy of the Spirit, much like a wheelbarrow must be pushed in the direction of your focus. This is necessary because when divine feedback comes, your mind must be fully involved to receive it.

Consider how Scripture describes this spiritual experience: "For God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts." We know that the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching the inward parts of the heart. We also know there is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding.

This is the mechanics of inspiration. When the Almighty comes, He lights His candle—which is your human spirit. As He inspires your spirit, you begin to see the journey. While this activity takes place in your spirit, it is directed at your mind, intending to overwhelm and enlighten it. If you seek the face of God without engaging your mind, you may receive feedback from Him, but it will not align with your specific area of focus.

Have you ever experienced this? You are praying about a specific matter, yet you receive impressions that seem completely irrelevant to what you are seeking. This happens because you did not engage your mind. The energy that enters your spirit is meant to solve your problem, but because your mind was far away, the revelation became dissociated from the actual issue of interest in your life. You did not push your mind along.

When the Lord inspires your spirit, the purpose of that illumination is to influence your mind. When He shines in our hearts, it is to give us the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus. The illumination you receive begins in your spirit, lighting it up to give you knowledge where you were once ignorant.

The Bible refers to this experience as accessing the face of Jesus. If you become skilled through consistent practice, you can train yourself to recognize this inspiration. When He inspires your spirit and you are attuned to it, you can ask Him questions, receive answers, and continue the dialogue. This dynamic, back-and-forth communication is what constitutes a face-to-face encounter.

I have tarried in prayer for hours, sometimes up to three hours, waiting for this communion. You cannot force Him to come; you can only labor in prayer until He chooses to manifest. Because He is a King, you cannot summon Him; He comes according to His own will. This is why Scripture speaks of waiting upon the Lord. Just as maidens watch the hand of their mistress, we wait for His leading.

You cannot detain Him, and through experience, you learn that when He enters your space, He usually speaks briefly. His standard method of communication consists of short sentences because He does not talk much, but He answers much. Turn to your neighbor and say: God does not talk much; He only answers much. That is where the skill of intimacy lies.
