There are two (2) types of leadership:
1) THE TRANSACTIONAL LEADER:
2) THE TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADER.
A TRANSACTIONAL LEADER is one who is a nagotatiator, He can strike a deal, he has great bargaining and selling power. In a very simple form, He is the leader who get thing done through people. He is the man of the people and get very much concern about the people. He is a leaders that is usually loved by everyone, praised by everyone and we'll spoken of by every one.
Traits:
The legacy of a transactional leaders only live as long as they live. Most time it fades away while the yet live but are retired. Or at best it last only but a little longer after they are gone.
A TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADER is a visionairy leader, a trail blazer, a Pathfinder, and one who brakes frontier. He is one full of faith and very optimistic about Himself, His vision(quest) and about His people. He is not a soft man, he has doggedness. This kind of leader many time leads without saying a word. Thinks can still be done without him being present. His presence many times is enough to spaour people into action. He is the leader what Inspires extraordinary performance from ordinary people and he motivate followers to become leaders and causes them to perform at a level they never thought was possible before.
Traits:
Place high focus on human (life) transformation. Societal development, nation building. Many times hated while alive but love and immortalized after death, departure or retirement.
Most time selfless to the core.
Legacy are often transgenarational.
Usually very out of reach yet very much around.
Usually very onassuming.
This two type of leadership is like the two side of the same coin.
The wise transformational leader will train his team to be transactional leaders and put them in key and sensitive position as a strategy for winning.
While the transactional leader will pray always to have the transformational leaders in his team. Because most time everything remain stand still until a true leader shows up.
